The episode opens with Mahid, visibly troubled, approaching Seher with a burning question: he wants to know where she discovered his mother’s letter. Seher responds, explaining that she found it hidden within a toy train.
This revelation prompts Mahid to speculate that the train must have been taken from Gazala’s room. However, Seher quickly denies this assumption, insisting that she had no intention of rummaging through that space.
Mahid then reveals that the toy train is his favorite, a cherished remnant of his childhood. He confesses that he has not set foot in Gazala’s room since her passing, suggesting that he believes she would have taken the toy out herself. He accuses Seher of visiting his house solely to search for the key to Gazala’s room, which leads him to question her motives
. Was she hiding something from him? Did Behar instruct her to do this? In response to his probing, Seher fabricates a story, claiming that she is simply a fan of Gazala and wishes to collect some of her belongings to honor her memory.
Mahid reflects on his past, admitting that he has been misled by the narratives of others regarding his mother’s death, and he regrets not taking the initiative to uncover the truth himself. He shares with Seher that Gazala was well aware of his fondness for the toy train and had hoped he would one day find the letter she left behind. His reluctance to visit her room stemmed from a place of anger and grief.
Seher reassures him, stating that he wasn’t entirely wrong in his feelings nor was his mother at fault; rather, he should direct his blame toward those who deceived him. Despite her comforting words, Mahid expresses his discomfort with the situation, feeling unable to find peace after everything that has transpired. Seher, empathetic to his plight, wishes she could reach out and comfort him by holding his hand, but she hesitates, reminded of his impending engagement to Nazima.
As the conversation progresses, Seher suggests that it’s time for Mahid to leave, citing the need to close the workshop for the day. Mahid then inquires if she overheard his conversation with Nazima, to which Seher admits she did.
He asks her if she feels let down by him, but she quickly reassures him that she does not. Seher acknowledges Nazima as his childhood love and claims to be happy for him, even admitting that she feels like the one who came between them.
In a surprising turn, Mahid invites Seher to attend his engagement ceremony. He explains that since he and Nazima are not officially divorced yet, he requires permission from his first wife to marry again.
This revelation strikes Seher hard, and she feels a wave of heartbreak wash over her. Despite her pain, she hides her emotions and promises to attend the engagement, offering her blessings for their future together.
Mahid, however, expresses his desire for her to stay away from him, suggesting that it would be better that way. As he notices tears in Seher’s eyes, she abruptly closes the door in his face, leaving him alone with his thoughts.
Later, Farid returns home, having received a voice message from Amal. He questions Sultana about Amal’s whereabouts, to which she responds that it is crucial for Farid to recognize Amal’s significance in their lives.
She hopes he will understand her importance during this challenging time. Farid, feeling cornered, accuses Sultana of using their daughter as leverage against him. Sultana stands firm, stating that she will continue to do so until he reveals the truth to Kauser.
Meanwhile, both Mahid and Seher are left heartbroken over their situation. Nazima is busy preparing for her mehndi, gathering supplies and cleaning the rooms in anticipation of the celebration. Wasim, on the other hand, expresses his concern that Mahid might venture into Gazala’s room.
In another scene, Kauser confronts Farid, demanding to know why he concealed the truth from her. Farid, caught in a lie, claims that the hospital may have provided incorrect information. Sukrana then humiliates Kauser for meeting with her husband alone, leading Kauser to leave the confrontation in distress.
As the episode draws to a close, Seher resolves to focus on her studies and move on from Mahid, but she is also plagued by thoughts of his safety, believing that he may be in danger. Meanwhile, Mahid confronts his family, determined to uncover the truth about Gazala and the circumstances surrounding her death.
The episode ends.
