The episode opens with Megha pleading with Arjun not to leave her alone, expressing her worry by hugging him tightly. She reassures him that she believes Manoj will return. In an attempt to calm her, Arjun shares that he has obtained information regarding the mental asylum where Manoj is being held, revealing his intention to visit. Soon, they arrive at the mental asylum, where the doctor informs them that Manoj’s mental state has regressed significantly following his injury; he behaves much like a child now. Arjun, however, is skeptical, insisting that Manoj is a criminal pretending to be mentally unstable. He argues with the doctor, confident in his understanding of Manoj. Megha, desperate, requests to see Manoj, only to learn that he has escaped. This news infuriates Arjun, who declares that Manoj is manipulating them and insists they leave immediately for their safety. As they drive away, they remain unaware that Manoj is hiding in the trunk of their car.
Upon reaching their home, Manoj stealthily enters the Talwar household. Meanwhile, Navjot advises Sikandar to keep an eye on Mukta, worried about her safety. Megha, feeling anxious, tells Arjun she is scared. He assures her to call him if anything goes wrong and urges her to get some rest. As he departs, Manoj lurks in the shadows, undetected.
In her room, Megha unknowingly brushes past Manoj, who calls out to her playfully but she doesn’t hear him because she heads to the washroom. Navjot and Sikandar spot Manoj and catch him off guard. He admits to being hungry and tries to flee but is caught by Sikandar, who slaps him, causing Manoj to cry. He pleads with Navjot for some cheese, to which she responds compassionately, deciding to feed him.
In the kitchen, Navjot brings cheese to Manoj, pondering whether he is genuinely mad or merely acting. Sikandar, seething with anger, vows to kill Manoj, but Navjot defends him, asserting he isn’t their enemy. Mukta asks if Navjot has any plans, leading her to realize that if anything were to happen to Megha, Manoj would likely be blamed.
Later, Megha enters the kitchen only to find it empty. When Mukta informs her that the servants have gone to watch a movie, Megha notices the oil supply has run out. Moving to the storeroom with a candle for light, she finds the oil, but as she does, it spills and causes her to slip. She falls, and the oil ignites, resulting in a fire. Panicking, Megha coughs and screams for help. Outside, Manoj spots her distress as Arjun grows increasingly restless, attempting to call Megha, but receives no answer.
