Lakshmi then declares that Vedaan won’t receive any additional sweets, explaining that if he becomes ill from eating too many, she’ll have to cover medical bills. Juhi and Aditi offer their sweets to Vedaan, while Lakshmi warns that someday Vedaan might take everyone’s share.
Meanwhile, Neil shares with Tejaswini that he loved celebrating Holi as a child and inquires if she enjoys it too. Tejaswini retorts that she isn’t there to discuss such topics. He urges her to express herself, but she questions why he appears to be sweating. Neil reassures her he’s alright, and she insists he understands what she wants to say. When she confronts him about telling Mukta of his desire to marry her despite being engaged to Juhi, he clarifies he hasn’t wed Juhi yet.
Neil shifts the subject, asking about Vedaan’s school admission. Tejaswini responds that Vedaan will attend a local school. Neil asks if Mohit left any resources for her family. Tejaswini explains that Lakshmi is the beneficiary, and Mohit wouldn’t have anticipated leaving them in such a situation. Concerned, Neil inquires how her family will make ends meet. Sathish inquires about Tejaswini’s whereabouts, and Mukta informs him that Tejaswini has gone to seek a school for Vedaan. Meanwhile, Tejaswini insists to Neil that she doesn’t want his assistance, stressing there is no bond between them.
