The television series *Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann*, which premiered on December 3 of last year, is set to conclude next month, with the final episode slated to air on March 15. Aditi Sharma, who portrays the lead character, shared, “Yes, the show is ending. Initially, the production team aimed to complete filming by February 26, but that schedule now appears unlikely since we don’t have a reserve of episodes and are filming almost daily for a seven-day broadcast. I anticipate March 10 will mark the last day of shooting, with the finale expected around March 15 or 17.”
Aditi expressed her desire for the show to succeed, noting its unique concept, “We remained committed to the original idea for a long time, which is rare as many shows tend to deviate from their premise shortly after airing. Although we endeavored to deliver on our creative vision, the audience often gravitates towards traditional formulas. While many viewers are catching it on OTT platforms, which influence our TRPs, those ratings ultimately matter. Additionally, I believe a more favorable time slot, like 8:30 or 9 PM, would have benefited a show like ours.”
*Apollena* will have aired for just over three months by its ending. Reflecting on the trend of early show cancellations, Aditi, known for her roles in *Kaleerein*, *Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka*, and *Rabb Se Hai Dua*, observed, “Every show has its own fate. In the past, series tended to run longer, but today many are cut short before they fully resonate with the audience. It’s unfortunate, but every ending paves the way for new beginnings. I felt disheartened when I left *Rabb Se Hai Dua*, but I soon found an opportunity in *Khatron Ke Khiladi*. Similarly, when my time in *Khatron* concluded, I joined *Apollena*. This constant evolution is what I love about acting—new projects bring fresh challenges, diverse partnerships, and exciting opportunities. I truly enjoyed my time on the show and hold it close to my heart, looking forward to what’s next.”
