The episode begins with Satish expressing his feelings of missing Mohit, stating that if Mohit were still alive, he would have performed the Kanyadaan ceremony himself. He also points out that there are individuals who take advantage of caring people like Mohit.
Teju intervenes, urging Satish not to humiliate Mukta in front of the guests. She acknowledges their fondness for Mohit but insists that it’s wrong to insult Mukta and her children. Aditi joins in, questioning the group about why they are disrespecting Mukta on Juhi’s wedding day. Lakshmi comments on the situation, adding to the tension.
As Neil reflects on Manjari’s words, he asks Mukta if they can have a private conversation. Teju insists that Neil should speak openly in front of everyone, but Neil repeats his desire to talk to Mukta alone. Deepali agrees to their request.
Once aside, Neil inquires about Mukta’s thoughts on their proposal. Mukta firmly states that she won’t ruin Juhi’s life to help Teju and declines Neil’s offer, making it clear that it’s not possible. Neil urges her to reconsider, but Mukta remains resolute.
Leena tells Teju that she has accepted the family as her own and asks if Teju considers Juhi as a sister. Teju confirms this. Leena then questions Teju’s feelings about Neil marrying Juhi. Just then, Neil and Mukta return to the Chavan family. Leena proposes that Neil and Leena should get engaged in five days, which the Chavan family agrees to. Lakshmi suggests that Neil and Juhi could marry next month, and the Pradhan family consents.
Jeetu confronts Neil about the decision regarding his marriage being made without his approval, urging him to fight for his happiness. Neil asserts that he will indeed fight for his happiness. He then calls Vedaant aside and gifts him a phone, instructing him to give it to Mukta. Teju witnesses this exchange, while Nandini comments on Neil’s gesture.
Later, Teju scolds Vedaant for accepting the phone from Neil. Juhi questions Teju about Vedaant’s supposed fault, leading both Juhi and Aditi to advise Vedaant to hide the phone somewhere safe, to which he agrees.
Teju later complains to Mukta about Neil’s behavior, criticizing him for gifting the phone to Vedaant. She questions Mukta about their conversation, but Mukta refuses to discuss it. Teju expresses her disapproval of Neil, while Mukta defends him. When Teju asks Mukta why she is supporting Neil, Mukta admits that she felt a bit selfish after Neil mentioned marrying her in the temple.
Aditi observes that Juhi seems troubled and asks her what’s wrong. Juhi opens up about her dilemma regarding whether or not to marry Neil.
