The television series Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha is set to air its final episode on April 15, bringing an end to months of speculation regarding its sustainability due to low ratings. The production team has been officially notified about the network’s decision to conclude the show.
Zaan Khan, a recent addition to the cast, confirmed the news, stating, “Yes, it’s true. The show is wrapping up soon. It’s unfortunate because it has a unique and promising concept. However, given the industry’s unpredictability, it’s hard to be shocked. These decisions happen, and there’s no blame to assign. I’ve seen many shows end over the years; it’s part of the business.”
Reflecting on his brief tenure, Khan, known for roles in shows such as Hamari Bahu Silk and Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, added, “I knew joining this show was a gamble, given the rumors of its early conclusion. But the opportunity was too good to miss. I crave diverse roles and enjoy working with talented creatives. This show offered both, and I value the experience. The work with producer Saibal Banerjee and the network was a great opportunity. I last worked with the channel on Naamkarann four years ago, and I hope they were satisfied with my performance in Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha. I look forward to future collaborations with them.”
Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, starring Sonakshi Batra and Fahmaan Khan in leading roles, premiered in September of the
