The episode begins with a tense interaction between Jhanak and the police inspector. The inspector informs Jhanak that he is unable to assist her with her concerns. Undeterred, Jhanak requests that he notify her when Rishi brings Arshi to the police station. The inspector agrees to this request, adding that they may also visit Arshi’s house. Jhanak acknowledges his response with a nod and then departs from the police station.
Meanwhile, at the college, Rishi finds himself pondering Jhanak’s whereabouts. He wonders if she might have gone to Aditi’s house. As Jhanak spots Rishi, she worries that he will confront her with questions. She approaches him and inquires about what he is doing there. Rishi, curious, asks her where she had been. Jhanak responds that she was occupied with something important. Rishi presses for details about this important task. In a moment of deceit, Jhanak claims she visited a friend’s house to collect notes. She then turns the question back on him, asking why he has not gone to the office.
Rishi continues to question her, asking where her friend lives. Jhanak replies that she went to Dhakuriya, silently hoping for forgiveness from God for her lie. Rishi, suspicious, asks if she went anywhere else. Jhanak insists that she did not. He then asks for her friend’s name, to which she responds that her friend’s name is Olabibi, explaining that it is her nickname.
Rishi, still inquisitive, asks for her friend’s real name. Jhanak claims her friend is unwell and that she is running late, prompting her to say she needs to go inside. Rishi requests her friend’s address, but Jhanak deflects, saying he is talking too much and that his teacher is waiting for him. Rishi cautions her against getting involved in Arshi’s case, but Jhanak reassures him, telling him not to worry, before rushing inside.
Later, Rishi receives the forensic report and decides to call the police inspector. He questions why no action has been taken yet. The inspector informs Rishi that they are prepared to proceed. He reveals that Jhanak had visited the police station, claiming she had taken pills and attempted to withdraw the case. Rishi, frustrated, reminds the inspector that he filed the case, implying that Jhanak cannot simply withdraw it. The inspector assures Rishi that they will arrest Arshi, and Rishi states that he will head to Arshi’s house.
Some time later, Jhanak is at home searching for her book. She encourages Putul to keep practicing, commenting that it seems Putul has forgotten how to sing. Tanushri then tells Jhanak to go eat something. Jhanak explains that with Dadabhai not at home, she can relax and have fun, as he would usually tell her to be quiet. Abhimanyu enters the scene, asking why there is so much noise, as it is disrupting his concentration. Tanushri explains that it was Jhanak who was being loud.
At this moment, Rishi arrives. The police inspector calls their landline, introducing himself. He is taken aback to learn he is speaking with Rishi and explains that he called for confirmation. Rishi, feeling frustrated, reminds the inspector that they have already discussed this and hangs up. Dritimaan asks Rishi where he is headed, and Rishi replies that he is going to arrest Arshi. Jhanak, hearing this, mentions that she needs to meet her teacher and leaves the room.
Later, the police inspector arrives at Aniruddh’s house with his team to arrest Arshi. Rishi informs everyone that he has the forensic report. Arshi, distressed, claims she did nothing wrong. Jhanak interjects, insisting that Arshi is innocent and that she does not wish to file a case against her.
Rishi counters her statement, asserting that Arshi mixed pills into Jhanak’s juice. Arshi vehemently denies this accusation and questions Aditi on how she can turn against her. Jhanak reassures Arshi, saying she is there to support the innocent, revealing that she took sleeping pills herself.
Dritimaan arrives at the scene, and Rishi accuses Jhanak of performing a new act in favor of Arshi. Dritimaan asks Jhanak what she is doing there, to which she replies that it concerns her, thus her presence is justified. She explains that she was exhausted and took sleeping pills to rest, reiterating that Arshi did not give her any pills. Rishi urges her to stop defending Arshi, but Jhanak firmly states that she will do as she pleases.
Aniruddh tells Jhanak that she does not need to protect anyone. Aditi adds that Jhanak should not show any mercy toward Arshi and that her interference is unnecessary. Aniruddh insists that the guilty party must be punished. Aditi urges the police inspector to fulfill his duty. Rishi points out that Arshi attempted to harm Jhanak. Jhanak, feeling frustrated, questions why they are treating her as if she is a child. She insists that she is telling the truth and cannot bear to see an innocent person arrested. She declares that if Rishi does not listen to her, she will go to Simulboni alone.
Rishi asks Jhanak why she is so intent on saving Arshi. Jhanak responds that she does not want to remain in a place where her words hold no value. In a surprising turn, Rishi agrees to withdraw the case. Jhanak and Arshi both express their happiness at this decision. Jhanak thanks Rishi for considering her feelings and respecting her opinion. She expresses her relief, stating that she can now live happily with her husband and encourages Arshi to stay with Aditi and Aniruddh peacefully.
In the precap, Aditi informs Rishi that she saw Jhanak with a stranger, leading Rishi to contemplate discussing Putul with him.
