by swathi reddy

The episode opens with Lord Shiva feeling sorrowful as he witnesses a forest engulfed in flames. An elderly woman who once aided him appears, questioning who caused the destruction of this beautiful landscape. Lord Shiva admits his involvement, prompting her to recognize his voice and brand him a sinner. Lord Narayan intervenes, explaining to the old woman that they share in the responsibility, and their motives, though valid, cannot excuse their actions. Enraged by the destruction, she curses them, declaring that their bodies will burn like the forest.

The forest dwellers express their shock, realizing the old woman has cursed not only Lord Shiva but also Lord Narayan and the Devas. Overcome with regret, the old woman wishes to retract her curse, but Lord Shiva reassures her that she did nothing wrong. Despite her desires, she acknowledges the curse cannot be undone. As they converse, flames begin to engulf everyone around them. Lord Narayan turns to Lord Shiva in desperation for a solution, while Devraj Indra also seeks guidance from him. Meanwhile, Jimrasur revels in the chaos unfolding before him.

Determined to take action, Lord Shiva instructs the Devas to perform Kumbh Snan. He expresses his need to consult with Goddess Parvati, while asserting to Bheemasur that the time for his punishment—death—has come. Though Bheemasur pleads for mercy, Lord Shiva remains resolute.

In a moment of gratitude, Lord Shiva thanks the forest inhabitants, and their leader requests that he create a Shivling in their honor. Lord Shiva obliges, and as he creates the Shivling, the haunting melody of “Om Kara Sadashiv Neelkanth Maheshwara” fills the air. The forest dwellers chant “Har har Mahadev,” while Jimrasur plots, believing Lord Shiva’s end is near.

As Lord Narayan, Brahmadev, and the Devas depart, Rishiwar notices them and inquires about their destination. They inform him they are off for Kumbh Snan, explaining its significance. Inspired, Rishiwar shares the news with other Rishiwars, encouraging them to join the sacred bath to absolve their unintentional sins. They all agree, and even the devotees decide to participate.

Meanwhile, Diti questions Jimrasur on their plan to thwart Lord Shiva. He assures her they have mere minutes until sunset and instructs her to urge Shukracharya to expedite the yagna. Confronting Lord Shiva, Jimrasur refuses to back down, claiming immunity from Lord Shiva’s might due to his boon.

Diti, observing a strange glow, asks about it. Shukracharya reveals that Goddess Parvati is about to become powerless, fueling Diti’s hope that Jimrasur will thwart Lord Shiva’s efforts. Ragu, on the other hand, anxiously waits for the sunset.

Jimrasur attacks Lord Shiva but is unsuccessful. When Lord Shiva’s hair releases from his Jada, Jimrasur is thrown into a panic. Using his trident, Lord Shiva counters Jimrasur’s moves, pushing him back. However, Jimrasur remains unscathed, mocking Lord Shiva’s powers, stating that he intends to delay him until sunset, after which Lord Shiva will be powerless.

Challenged and resolute, Lord Shiva declares that if his weapon cannot harm Jimrasur, he will resort to using his hands instead.

Meanwhile, the Devas reach the Kumbh Snan site and find relief as they cleanse themselves, chanting “Har har Mahadev” in joy.

With focus on his opponent, Lord Shiva challenges Jimrasur to hold on as he prepares to braid his hair. Jimrasur consents, and as Shiva secures his hair, the music “Hara Shambhu” resonates in the background. Diti gleefully announces the arrival of sunset and their perceived victory, prompting Jimrasur to laugh triumphantly.

The episode concludes with tension building around what lies ahead.
