The episode opens with devotees pleading for Lord Shiva’s protection as Jimrasur urges them to scream louder. Goddess Parvati insists that Lord Shiva must intervene to resolve the crisis, but Shiva explains that he cannot step in this time. Instead, he reveals that the people at the Kumbh must pray fervently if they wish to defeat Jimrasur, and sacrifices will be necessary.
As the Rishiwars strip off their clothes and vow to perform austerities while fasting, the devotees decide to engage in acts of charity. Lord Narayan remarks on the significance of this Kumbh, while Narad emphasizes the necessity for united action against Jimrasur.
Lord Shiva instructs the devotees to trust in the divine forces, leading them to join hands and withstand their suffering silently. Jimrasur is taken aback by their resilience and audacity, and one devotee boldly tells him that they are unafraid due to their faith in Lord Shiva, proclaiming Jimrasur’s impending demise. The group chants “Har Har Mahadev,” igniting Jimrasur’s fury as he orders his army to attack the devotees.
Meanwhile, Devas, Rishiwars, and devotees engage in puja amid the haunting melody of the “karpurgauran” song. Lord Shiva picks up his damru and addresses Goddess Parvati, who is puzzled by his request. Hearing the cries of the devotees, she is stirred and decides to take action. With her eyes closed, she transforms (as the “ambe bhagvati” song plays) and, witnessing the fervent prayers, recalls Kanyakumari’s vow and Jimrasur’s pledge to avoid her.
Shukracharya declares that since Jimrasur is avoiding Kanyakumari, no battle will ensue. Goddess Parvati commands the universe to reject injustice, prompting a storm. Lord Narayan acknowledges the world’s struggle for justice, while Narad speculates if Jimrasur will indeed confront Kanyakumari. Lord Shiva reassures them that justice will prevail, leading to Jimrasur being swept into the storm (the “Hara Shambhu” song plays).
As Kanyakumari continues her penance, she is startled to find Jimrasur before her. He is confused about how he arrived there, and Diti urges him to flee. In a moment of determination, Lord Shiva instructs Kanyakumari to eliminate Jimrasur for the sake of justice, a sentiment echoed by Parvati and the assembled divinities.
Queen Diti questions the rationale behind expecting Kanyakumari to confront Jimrasur, while King Bharat pledges to protect his daughter and attempts to pull her away. Lord Shiva implores Kanyakumari to accept her duty and vanquish Jimrasur. Inspired, Kanyakumari invokes Lord Shiva’s name, recalling Jimrasur’s taunts that she couldn’t kill him even when divine forces failed. Defiantly, she declares her intent to slay him and readies her weapon.
Kanyakumari expresses her wish for bel leaves to become an impenetrable barrier against Jimrasur. Lord Shiva creates this wall as Jimrasur attempts to breach it unsuccessfully (accompanied by the “Om Kara Sadashiv Neelkanth Maheshwara” song). Surrounded by the barrier made of bell leaves, Kanyakumari challenges Jimrasur, daring him to strike her, while he attempts an attack to no avail.
As the tension escalates, Lord Shiva proclaims that this battle is destined to happen and Jimrasur will perish. Kanyakumari senses the world’s support behind her. Diti, anxious, implores Shukracharya to intervene, but he points out that no one can act without Lord Shiva’s consent. Kanyakumari presents Jimrasur with a choice: to fight or accept death. He opts for battle, and she prepares for the confrontation, chanting “Har Har Mahadev.”
The episode concludes with increasing tension, and in the precap, Kanyakumari asserts she will choose death if Lord Shiva does not arrive.
