tvN’s upcoming weekend youth music drama Four Hands Two Sonatas has officially unveiled its intense highlight teaser trailer, offering a dramatic look into the fractured friendships, fierce rivalries, and volatile romance blooming among young musical prodigies.
Set to premiere on August 29, the series centers on an elite arts high school where three teenagers—a calculated perfectionist pianist, a wild instinctual genius, and a passionate violist—leave undeniable marks on each other’s lives and music.

“You Calculate, But He Plays on Instinct”: Highlight Breakdown
The trailer opens with a chilling declaration from pianist Kang Bi o (Song Kang): “I’d rather quit playing altogether than remain just a mediocre pianist.” Driven by an absolute refusal to fall behind, Bi o’s life revolves around music, spending endless hours analyzing score sheets down to every individual note.
However, Bi o’s meticulously structured routine shatters with the arrival of transfer student Choi Jeong yo (Lee Jun young). Jeong yo’s raw, emotionally resonant playing immediately captivates Bi o’s childhood friend and violist Hong Jae in (Jang Gyu ri), who gasps, “You’re a genius.”
