The first look at summer’s most anticipated healing romance is finally here. ENA has officially released the 1st teaser video and poster for Doctor On The Edge, giving fans a glimpse into the chaotic “island life” of Lee Jae-wook and Shin Ye-eun.
The Heartwarming Plot of Doctor On The Edge Drama
Based on the hit webtoon Jonber Doctor, the series follows Do Ji-ui (Lee Jae-wook), a public health doctor who is “unlucky” enough to be stationed at Pyeongdong Island—a remote location everyone else avoids. Having a deep-seated trauma related to the ocean, Ji-ui’s arrival on the island is anything but smooth.
He quickly crosses paths with Yuk Ha-ri (Shin Ye-eun), a dedicated nurse who has returned to her hometown with a secret. While Ji-ui is busy clutching his head in despair over the lack of city life, Ha-ri is the sunshine of the island, always ready to lend a hand to the quirky residents.
