The episode opens with a scene of tension as a young woman approaches Madhumati, pleading for permission to return to her home. She explains that she only has a small amount of work left to complete with her churni, a traditional garment that holds significant meaning for her. Madhumati, however, is firm in her response, insisting that the woman finish her tasks before leaving. The young woman expresses that the churni she intends to wear for her wedding is meant to bring her glory, highlighting its importance in her life.
In the present day, the atmosphere shifts dramatically as Dakini, a powerful and malevolent spirit, is seen manipulating Ayaan, who is under her possession. She adorns him with a crown, indicating her control over him. Meanwhile, Ishani grows increasingly anxious as she observes a sudden and ominous change in the weather, sensing that something sinister is unfolding.
At the haveli, Arnab, concerned about the worsening weather conditions, shares that their attempts to reach Ayaan have been unsuccessful. Meera, another key character, asserts that the disturbances they are experiencing are a direct result of Dakini’s dark influence. The narrative then shifts back to the forest, where Dakini confronts a possessed Ayaan with fury, accusing him of betrayal from a century ago. In a fit of rage, she physically assaults him, choking him as Ishani watches in horror. Dakini then turns her dark powers on Ishani, rendering her unable to speak or call for help.
Desperate to save Ayaan, Meera implores Ayaan’s family members to join her in their quest to rescue him from Dakini’s grasp. She makes a heartfelt promise to Koel, vowing to bring Ayaan back home safely. Meanwhile, Dakini continues her sinister plans, forcing the possessed Ayaan to wear a garland, a traditional symbol of marriage. She commands him to place a garland around her neck as well, and with a twisted sense of joy, Dakini revels in the moment as Ayaan complies. Just then, Ishani manages to break free from Dakini’s hold, escaping her clutches.
Back at the haveli, Meera informs Ayaan’s family that she has followed the instructions in Thakuma’s letter and burned many of Dakini’s belongings. However, she believes that there is still something they have overlooked, which is preventing Dakini from being liberated. The family members express their confusion, pondering what could be left to address. They decide to investigate further in Lal Bhawan, rushing inside to search for answers, while Arnab remains behind, clearly perplexed by the unfolding events. Ishani arrives at the scene and urges Meera to open the door, only to discover that it is locked from the outside. Determined, she begins to break the lock.
Meanwhile, in the forest, Dakini admires the elaborate preparations she has made for her impending marriage to Ayaan. She begins to take pheras (the sacred rounds) with the possessed Ayaan, solidifying their union in her twisted vision. Back at the haveli, Meera instructs Ayaan’s family to locate Dakini’s most cherished possessions, believing that destroying them will weaken her power. As they search, Meera discovers a photograph of Dakini, also known as Madhumati, dressed in wedding attire. The family members quickly realize that they have yet to burn Dakini’s cherished churni, which holds great significance for her.
With guidance from Ayaan’s aunt, they successfully locate Dakini’s churni. As Dakini continues to share her vows with the possessed Ayaan during the pheras, the tension escalates. Just as Meera prepares to burn the churni, she becomes ensnared by it, causing shock and panic among Ayaan’s family members, who are unable to save her. In a moment of desperation, Koel arrives, reciting Hanuman mantras, and the entire family joins her in chanting. Miraculously, this collective effort helps Meera break free from the churni’s grip, allowing her to pursue it as it flies away.
Ishani arrives just in time to urge Meera to focus on saving Ayaan, who is still trapped in Dakini’s wedding rituals. In the forest, Dakini gleefully tells Ayaan that no one will ever separate them, laughing maniacally. She instructs him to apply vermilion to her forehead, a crucial part of the wedding ceremony. Just as Ayaan, under Dakini’s possession, is about to fulfill her command, Meera intervenes, calling out for him to stop. This angers Dakini, leading to a tense standoff as both she and Meera grasp a portion of the churni, locking eyes in a battle of wills.
**Precap:** In a desperate bid to rid themselves of Dakini’s influence, Meera seeks the assistance of Chaudhary to burn the churni. They agree to help, but as the plan unfolds, both Dakini and the possessed Ayaan seize Meera, leaving her helpless and in a perilous situation.
