Colors TV is set to introduce a new champion of women’s empowerment with its upcoming show, Aarambhi. Produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Content Creators (the makers behind the successful Mannat: Har Khushi Paane Ki), the show is expected to take over a prime-time slot this January.

The Plot: A Journey from Betrayal to Ambition

The first promo of Aarambhi has already sparked conversation. The story follows a married woman, Aarambhi (played by Aishwarya Khare), who has spent years suppressing her dreams for the sake of her family. After facing deep-seated betrayal and ill-treatment from those she trusted most, she decides to reclaim her identity.

The narrative highlight is her return to her first love: medicine. The promo features a poignant moment where she opens a long-closed cupboard to reveal her stethoscope and doctor’s coat, symbolizing her “shubhaarambh” (new beginning) as Dr. Aarambhi.

The show features a mix of seasoned actors and fresh pairings:

  • Aishwarya Khare (Female Lead): After her massive success in Bhagya Lakshmi, Aishwarya returns to fiction to play the titular role.

  • Aditya Redij (Male Lead): Known for his powerful roles in Na Aana Is Des Laado and Bawara Dil, Aditya will play the lead opposite Aishwarya.

  • Anjum Fakih (Antagonist): The Kundali Bhagya fame actress joins the cast in a pivotal negative role that will drive the show’s major conflicts.

  • Supporting Cast: The show features veterans like Lubna Salim, Shailesh Datar, and Mehul Nisar, along with Abhishek Verma and Sumit Singh.

Launch Details

  • Premiere Date: January 27, 2026.

  • Time Slot: 8:00 PM (Every day).

  • OTT Platform: Digital streaming will be available on JioHotstar.

The Takeaway: With its focus on a woman’s fight to reclaim her career and respect after marriage, Aarambhi is being positioned as a high-stakes emotional drama that could fill the void left by outgoing shows like Binddii.
