Angad Hasija, known for his role in “Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye,” is set to make his debut in the new series “Suman Indori.” He will portray a significant character as the new man in Suman’s (played by Ashnoor Kaur) life. Describing his role, Angad shares, “I play the son of a powerful politician in the show. My character is set to bring positive changes into Suman’s life and assist her in confronting her sister-in-law, Devika (Anita Hassanandani). While politicians are often depicted in a negative light, my character will have a positive arc with various dimensions. I found this role to be substantial, and knowing the entire team made it an ideal opportunity for me.”
Emphasizing his enjoyment of diverse roles, Angad elaborates, “In ‘Kaise Mujhe,’ I portrayed a negative character who caused a lot of turmoil. Since the pandemic, I have been actively involved in TV shows, but it’s crucial to select the right roles rather than accepting any offer that comes my way. I also worked on the shows ‘Garud’ and ‘Pashmina.’ While television remains a popular medium, the longevity of a show is also significant.”
Addressing recent rumors about “Suman Indori” potentially going off air, Angad reassured fans, stating, “When the makers reached out to me about the role, I did ask about this concern, and I can confirm it’s not true. There may have been such speculations, but the show is performing well in its current time slot. The last project I did for this channel was ‘Phulwa,’ and I’m thrilled to have the chance to collaborate with this production house and channel once again after so long.”
