Rupali Ganguly’s popular series *Anupamaa* recently underwent a significant leap, introducing a host of new characters, including lead couple Shivam Khajuria and Alisha Parveen, who portray Prem and Rahi, respectively. However, Alisha has been replaced by Adrija Roy as Rahi. Shivam has received acclaim for his role as Prem. Previously, he was known for his character Rohit Poddar in *Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai*, but after taking a break, his character was written off as missing and ultimately replaced by Romit Raaj.
In a recent conversation with Telly Chakkar, Shivam admitted that he misses his time on *Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai*, especially the camaraderie with his co-stars. Although he hasn’t had the opportunity to work with Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani since his departure, he especially misses shooting with Samridhii Shukla, with whom he shared many scenes. Shivam expressed that he remains in touch with Anita Raaj but finds it challenging to meet up due to their rigorous shooting schedules.
He praised Samridhii, calling her a sweetheart and noting her innocence, adding that he feels a protective instinct toward her. Shivam commended her talent and focus as an actress, referring to her as a good friend. Despite fans being disappointed that he would not be returning as Rohit, Shivam is currently winning hearts in his role as Prem in *Anupamaa*.
