He queries Girdar about Pallavi’s willingness to cooperate, to which Girdar responds with a nod of assurance. Consequently, the Judge grants Pallavi parole. In a separate scene, the principal honors Apollena with a medal, commending her for bringing pride to both the school and her father. Madhu hugs her, and Apollena excitedly shares that her name will be inscribed on the school board. Although thrilled, she feels the absence of Girdar acutely at this moment. Neil expresses that he shared a photo with his dad, and soon after, the media interviews Apollena, where a reporter highlights her achievement of topping the board exam against all odds. Apollena credits her success to her father.
Meanwhile, Girdar shows Pallavi some photos, and she expresses her pride in Apollena, envisioning her as a future role model. Girdar notices a return flight ticket she sent him and questions her motives in arranging this despite her financial difficulties. Pallavi explains that supporting him brings her peace of mind, suggesting she’s doing this for his benefit. Girdar then asks why her case remains unresolved, and Pallavi reveals she was framed, expressing her determination to find the true culprit—her former assistant, Vijayan.
Girdar acknowledges familiarity with Vijayan, and Pallavi outlines her plan to clear her name while on parole before she leaves. Girdar spots Vijayan in the courtroom and attempts to summon him, but Vijayan hastily departs. Meanwhile, Saraswati voices her worries for her sons, while Mahadev encourages her not to coddle them, as they are now adults needing their independence. She remarks that Vedh hasn’t returned home yet, which coincides with Shlok’s absence. When Vedh finally arrives, Saraswati inquires if he’s eaten, to which he says he’s fine, only needing to file some paperwork.
Mahadev tells him to rest, but Saraswati laments that he praises Apollena while neglecting their own children. Mahadev reassures her that he will acknowledge their achievements once they accomplish something significant, mentioning Vedh could have come home sooner if he hadn’t made mistakes the previous day—an explanation that does little to soothe Saraswati’s concerns. Vedh comforts her, but she remains upset about Shlok’s absence, to which he suggests Shlok might simply be asleep.
Upon returning home, Apollena discovers Shlok asleep and queries Dadi about his state. Dadi advises against waking him, pointing out that he needs the rest after a long day of driving. Apollena protests that it’s already two o’clock. Neil jokes that Dadi would be displeased if he slept any longer. Irani notes her readiness, but Dadi prevents her from waking Shlok, urging her instead to go pray. Dadi then instructs Apollena to wake him, prompting her to splash water on Shlok’s face. He awakens, playfully threatens her, and chases her around, much to Dadi’s delight.
Madhu comments that while she understands Apollena’s excitement, she should manage her expectations. In an accidental mishap, Shlok spills water on Girdar, causing him to angrily slam the door. Apollena attempts to soothe him, and he asks whether she prepared for her exams, to which she affirms. He warns her that love is not a priority at her age, urging her to focus on her ambitions, and she promises to heed his advice.
