The episode begins with Apollena reassuring Vaishali that she won’t miss tomorrow’s lecture. Curious, Shlok asks what’s special about it. She excitedly replies that she has an aeronautical class. Shlok encourages her to attend, saying no one will stop her, but Apollena points out the situation at home. He promises to help her make it to the lecture and explains that he doesn’t want her dreams to be derailed because of him. He adds that she shouldn’t mistake his kindness for anything romantic. Apollena quickly retorts that she isn’t desperate for love. Shlok jokes about missing his bed, and she smiles at him playfully.

Later, Saraswati asks Apollena where she is headed. Apollena responds that she has an important lecture to attend. Saraswati reminds her that they’re newly married and have many rituals to complete, urging her to wait for Mahadev to return. Apollena agrees.

Saraswati reveals Apollena’s name written on rice and prompts Shlok to choose a new name for her from the options of Sruthi, Gayathri, or Aparna. Shlok inquires about the reason behind the name change, making Rupa nearby visibly nervous. Saraswati states that it is customary for women to change their names after marriage. Apollena is shocked and refuses to accept this, questioning how she could change the identity given to her by her father. Saraswati insists that traditions must be upheld.

Shlok intervenes, trying to calm the situation, but Saraswati tells him not to speak against their customs. Saraswati believes Apollena must adapt to her in-laws’ traditions post-wedding, but Apollena firmly states that no one can force her to change her identity.

Saraswati counters by pointing out that Rupa accepted the tradition and shows the tattoo of her name, Veena, which was changed to Saraswati by her mother-in-law. Apollena argues that she will not pass on the trauma of generational expectations; just because Rupa accepted her mother-in-law’s demands doesn’t mean she must do the same.

Saraswati admonishes her, saying it’s time for Apollena to accept her role, but Apollena stands her ground, insisting she won’t change her identity. When Mahadev tries to intervene, stating she shouldn’t speak that way to elders, Apollena responds that while she respects her in-laws, she won’t compromise her identity.

Saraswati claims she doesn’t like the “meaningless” name and asks if Apollena lacks respect for her in-laws, to which Apollena retorts that she won’t support something wrong. Shlok defends his mother, telling Apollena not to speak to her that way. In a bold move, he declares he will tattoo a rocket on her hand, symbolizing her dreams of reaching space. Saraswati insists on the rituals, but Shlok updates Apollena’s name to Apollena Pandey, making Mahadev pleased to see this change. Saraswati feels torn, believing her son is being taken away from her.

Later, Apollena thanks Shlok for supporting her against the rituals, mentioning she shares his disdain for them. He drives her to college, but on arrival, students gossip about her married status. Her professor scolds her for not staying in the hostel and accuses her of wasting a valuable seat because of her marriage, further insulting her.

The episode ends on this tense note, highlighting the struggles Apollena faces in balancing her ambitions with societal expectations.
