The episode begins with a chance encounter between Bhagyasree and Rishabh, where Bhagyasree accidentally spills coffee on him. Rishabh, slightly annoyed, advises her to be more careful while walking. In a moment of frustration, Bhagyasree retaliates by throwing the remaining coffee in her cup directly at his face. However, she quickly comes to her senses and realizes that the person she has drenched is not Rishabh but Sunny. Feeling embarrassed, Bhagyasree apologizes profusely to Sunny and offers to buy him a new shirt. Sunny, curious about her erratic behavior, questions her about what has been troubling her, but Bhagyasree, flustered, decides to leave the scene.
Later, Bhagyasree’s neighbors encourage her to take a fortune cookie, a tradition they seem to enjoy. Initially, she declines, expressing her skepticism about the significance of such things. Instead, she urges her friend Revati to try one. Revati, intrigued, accepts the challenge, opens the cookie, and discovers a message predicting a healthy life ahead.
Despite her initial reluctance, Bhagyasree’s friends and neighbors insist that she should give it a shot too. Eventually, she concedes and takes a cookie for herself. The message inside reads that from that day forward, it will mark her “second beginning.” Bhagyasree interprets this as a sign that her new chapter will start with the support of her friends and family.
That evening, Bhagyasree gathers for dinner with her friends. Revati, on the other hand, leaves to meet her own friends, prompting Bhagyasree to feel anxious about her sister’s well-being. Nikhil, sensing her worry, tries to reassure her, but Bhagyasree expresses her desire for Revati to avoid making the same mistakes she did in her past.
As the New Year approaches, Bhagyasree and her friends raise their glasses in celebration, hoping to welcome a year that allows her to leave her past behind and find peace. However, the moment is disrupted when a stranger unexpectedly pushes her from behind without an apology. This rude behavior prompts Bhagyasree and her friends to vocalize their discontent before they decide to move away from the situation.
When the clock strikes midnight, Bhagyasree steps outside to embrace the new year. Rishabh appears, greeting her with a Happy New Year before departing. His presence momentarily confuses Bhagyasree, leading her to question whether she is imagining him again. She reminds herself to keep her emotions in check and not let her heart dictate her actions.
From a distance, Rishabh watches her, silently hoping to rekindle their relationship. Meanwhile, Bhagyasree anxiously awaits Revati’s return. When Revati finally arrives home, she excitedly announces that she has accepted a marriage proposal. Bhagyasree reacts with anger, questioning whether Revati has learned anything from her own past mistakes. She demands to know the boy’s caste and community, reflecting her protective instincts. Vinay, their father, interjects, arguing that caste should not be a concern. He emphasizes that the real issue lies with the boy’s character and whether he will treat Revati well. Vinay then seeks assurance from Revati about her trust in the boy, to which she responds affirmatively. Padma, their mother, adds a poignant note about Rishabh, acknowledging the hurt he caused but also recognizing that he once made their family feel whole.
The following day, Bhagyasree arrives at her office, only to be taken aback when she discovers that Rishabh is now her new boss. Disturbed by this unexpected turn of events, she declares her intention to resign by the end of the day. Rishabh, however, reminds her of the terms of her contract, stating that she would need to pay ₹2.5 crores to leave immediately or continue working for three more years. Angered by the situation, Bhagyasree insists that she will not work alongside him and storms off.
Rishabh reflects on a past incident where Bhagyasree had retracted a police complaint against him. He approaches her in an attempt to clarify matters, but Bhagyasree asserts that she made a mistake then and feels she has now corrected it. Rishabh tries to express that she still loves him, but Bhagyasree firmly counters, declaring her hatred for him before walking away.
In the upcoming scenes, it is revealed that Rishabh has moved in next door to Bhagyasree. In response, her family decides to petition the housing society to have him removed. Rishabh, however, proposes that a vote be held to determine whether he should be allowed to stay in the community, setting the stage for potential conflict and drama in their lives.
