The episode begins with Sunny, Nitya, and Sonia arriving at their office, where they are taken aback to find Rishabh Kapoor present. Rishabh introduces himself as the new Managing Director of the company, leaving the trio in a state of shock.
Simultaneously, Bhagyashree returns home and expresses her frustration over Rishabh’s unexpected entry into her company. She seethes with anger, determined not to let his wealth manipulate her emotions this time. Nikhil attempts to soothe her, suggesting they have tea together, but she declines, upset that Rishabh has already ruined the start of the New Year. At that moment, Padma and Vinay arrive and notice Bhagyashree’s tense demeanor. They hear drilling noises and, upon opening the door, are astonished to see Rishabh installing his nameplate.
Rishabh greets Bhagyashree’s parents and casually mentions that he is their new neighbor. This revelation infuriates Vinay, who demands a meeting of the society to address the situation.
During the society meeting, Bhagyashree’s family pleads with the members to expel Rishabh from their community. However, the LGBTQ group members express their joy at Rishabh’s return and embrace him warmly. Patil points out that Rishabh owns 50 out of the 100 flats in the society, making it impossible to force him out. In response to Vinay’s accusations of fraud, Patil reminds everyone that many residents, including Vinay’s family, live in flats owned by Rishabh’s company. Rishabh proposes a fair voting process, and the LGBTQ women pledge their support, further aggravating Bhagyashree, who storms out in frustration.
Later, Bhagyashree reaches out to Mayur, requesting him to book a hotel room for her as she begins packing her belongings. Padma questions her decision, but Bhagyashree insists that moving to a hotel is preferable since she cannot tolerate Rishabh’s presence. Despite Padma’s attempts to calm her down, Bhagyashree argues that Rishabh’s new role as both her boss and neighbor is unacceptable, and she refuses to allow him to dominate her life.
As the voting concludes, Mukul Chadda announces that Rishabh has garnered the majority of votes, securing his position in the society. The LGBTQ group celebrates this outcome, while Vinay angrily confronts Revati, suspecting her of casting the decisive vote in Rishabh’s favor.
Meanwhile, Rishabh confronts Bhagyashree as she attempts to leave, reminding her that she cannot vacate her flat without proper notice to the company. He asserts that she has no choice but to remain. Bhagyashree accuses him of orchestrating the situation deliberately. As she departs, her dupatta inadvertently falls onto Rishabh’s face, evoking memories of their past. Rishabh tenderly kisses the dupatta, but Bhagyashree quickly retrieves it and retreats to her apartment.
At a subsequent office meeting, Rishabh addresses the employees, noting the previous month’s poor performance but expressing optimism about improvements under his leadership. Some employees whisper among themselves, suggesting they might work on weekends due to Rishabh’s attractive demeanor. Rishabh then inquires about Bhagyashree’s shampoo brand, signaling Sunny to investigate. After smelling her hair, Sunny lists the products, prompting Rishabh to announce that their next product will be similar, with Bhagyashree as its promoter. Bhagyashree protests, claiming it is outside her expertise and suggests that Sunny should handle it instead. Rishabh, however, insists on her involvement for the sake of the company’s growth, promising to assist her, before concluding the meeting.
In a different context, Revati asks her parents if they are prepared to meet her fiancé, to which they enthusiastically agree and begin discussing the preparations. Revati reveals that her fiancé will be accompanied by his family.
Later, Nikhil approaches Bhagyashree, advising her to maintain her composure. He shares that he has a plan to deal with Rishabh. Suddenly, the office experiences a power outage, and in the darkness, Nikhil kneels before Bhagyashree, proposing marriage to her. Rishabh, witnessing this moment, is filled with anger.
