The episode opens with Malishka expressing regret for leaving the house at this hour, knowing that the Oberoi family will worry about her, especially since she is pregnant. To fabricate a reason for her absence, she decides to purchase a Pooja ki Thaali, claiming she went to the temple.
While attempting to apply sindoor to her forehead, Malishka is approached by Anushka. Curious, Malishka asks what Anushka is doing there. Anushka replies that she has come to help Malishka. She goes on to say that Malishka needs to eliminate Shalu before Lakshmi, as Shalu will have Ayush in her grasp. Anushka warns that both Shalu and Ayush will go to great lengths to support Rishi and Lakshmi’s union. Malishka, irritated, insists she doesn’t need help and tries to walk away, but Anushka reveals that she knows the truth about Malishka’s pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Rishi is speaking with Shalu, attempting to get her to share what’s on her mind. Shalu brushes him off, claiming there’s nothing to discuss and attempts to leave. Rishi then questions Lakshmi about her presence in the room, wondering if she was eavesdropping on his conversation with Shalu. Just then, Ayush enters and asks Shalu if he can speak with her. Shalu makes an excuse to avoid him and leaves the room.
Anushka continues to press Malishka, mentioning that she overheard Kiran discussing Malishka when she was about to be thrown out of the Oberoi mansion. In a flashback, Kiran expresses relief that no one knows Malishka’s child isn’t Rishi’s. Malishka, visibly unsettled, asks Kiran not to bring it up.

Later, Neelam and Aanchal return home from shopping, and Kiran greets them. Neelam excitedly calls for Lakshmi, announcing that she bought her a new dress for the Lohri festival. Harleen admires Neelam’s selection, praising her taste.
