The episode begins with an intense scene as Aarambhi scolds Manju for cleaning the floor. Manju, undeterred, insists that it’s a small task she can handle. Aarambhi, however, firmly states that she is not allowed to do such work. Vishwas chimes in, asserting that they have servants specifically for that purpose. Manju, standing her ground, explains that she noticed the floor wasn’t clean and took it upon herself to fix it. She emphasizes that they are performing this puja to eliminate negativity, and maintaining cleanliness is part of that effort.
Aarambhi, dismissive, retorts that those who perceive negativity are simply filling their minds with it. Vishwas, feeling his ego bruised by Manju’s comments, pretends to scold Nandita for not calling the servants to handle the cleaning. He then instructs Manju to leave the task alone. Manju, determined and resilient, responds that this is their house, and she won’t let it bother her. Vihaan, confused, questions whose house this really is, while Dimple reminds everyone that it’s time for the grahpravesh ceremony. Avantika gives Vishwas a subtle signal, which Aarambhi notices, raising her suspicions about their intentions.
Guru, the family’s spiritual guide, begins dictating how to perform the rituals. Vishwas pretends to show concern for Aarambhi, asking if she can hold the kalash for the ceremony. Aarambhi confidently replies that she can, but when she tries to lift it, she struggles and is unable to do so. Avantika steps in to hold the kalash, prompting Dimple to thank her for saving the moment. Vishwas, seizing the opportunity, declares that since Avantika is holding the kalash, she should take it inside. Avantika subtly signals him back, indicating their shared plan. Aarambhi realizes that Vishwas had intentionally burned her hand to allow Avantika to take over the ritual. Disgusted by their scheming, she steps back, feeling betrayed.
Her brother urges her to stand beside her husband, and reluctantly, Aarambhi completes the grahpravesh with him. Avantika places the kalash in the puja room, and Raj notices Aarambhi’s burnt hand, suggesting that she should rest for a few days since she can’t perform any work. Aarambhi is frustrated, knowing she has an important exam coming up and worries about how she will manage to write it with her injured hand.
Avantika, reveling in her role, tells Dimple that she deserves thanks for holding the kalash, which she believes saved the day. Dimple expresses her gratitude, but Avantika insists that she wants to distribute sweets to the guests, something she claims she has never done before. Dimple suggests that Aarambhi should be the one to hand out the sweets, but Avantika quickly dismisses this, calling for Sanya instead.
Vihaan, feeling possessive of his home, complains to Aarambhi, asserting that he should be the one distributing sweets since it is his house. He argues that Sanya is doing it incorrectly. Aarambhi intervenes, insisting that Sanya is giving the sweets to the wrong people. Sanya defends herself, saying she has always distributed sweets this way during her birthday celebrations. Aarambhi firmly counters that today is not a birthday; it’s a religious offering. Vihaan, with the support of Dimple, takes charge and begins distributing the sweets properly.
Feeling her pride wounded, Avantika begins to praise Dimple excessively, commenting on her class and the design of the house. She contrasts Dimple’s sophistication with Aarambhi’s supposed typicality, looking down on Aarambhi’s middle-class background. Aarambhi retorts that Dimple was the one who selected the decor, standing up for herself. Raj, concerned for Aarambhi’s well-being, reminds her that her hand is burned and she shouldn’t be doing any work. Seizing the opportunity, Aarambhi uses Raj’s distraction to slip away, determined to go out and take her exam.
As she leaves, the postman arrives with divorce papers intended for Vishwas. He snatches the papers from Aarambhi’s hands, which raises her suspicions about their contents. Later, Aarambhi arrives at the exam center, but she struggles to write her exam due to the pain from her burnt hand.
In the precap, after completing her exam, Aarambhi is met with another obstacle: the staff refuses to accept her papers because they are stained with her blood. Meanwhile, Vishwas receives his divorce papers and contemplates how helpless Aarambhi is against him, convinced that he will easily gain custody of Vihaan.
