As *Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein* prepares for a generation leap with a new cast, current lead Hitesh Bharadwaj reflects on the emotional journey of his role coming to an end. He shares, “It has been a wonderful experience. At first, it was challenging since the audience needed time to connect with us. Despite some criticism, I remained dedicated, and eventually, everything fell into place.”
Playing a father for the first time on screen has profoundly shaped Hitesh’s perspective on life. He explains, “I’ve come to realize the emotional and financial pressures my father must have faced while raising us. Growing up in a middle-class family in Mathura, I remember how deeply my father valued our education. While other kids received video games as gifts, my brother and I were given books. We didn’t appreciate this at the time, but now I fully understand the sacrifice behind it. I’m incredibly proud of my father for providing us with a protective and nurturing upbringing, and it has made me more aware of my future responsibilities as a father.” He also noted, “I had to gain weight to look mature for this role.”
When asked if he and his wife, Suditi, plan to start a family soon, he replied, “My mother is eager to become a grandmother, but we haven’t made any concrete plans yet. I do wish to be a father in the future… the rest is in destiny’s hands.”
