The episode begins with Chandan receiving an urgent call from Meher. Sensing her need to share something important, he encourages her to speak. Meher insists that he come to their house immediately because it’s crucial. Chandan agrees to meet them. Meanwhile, Simran questions Meher about not informing Chandan about everything that’s happening. Meher explains that it’s vital for Chandan to see things for himself. Simran shares her frustrations with Meghla, saying that her family has always treated her in-laws with respect, asserting that love and respect should be mutual. Harman, however, believes that Chandan is unlikely to act out of line.
Amarjeet harshly criticizes Meghla and her family, prompting Meghla to defend her parents and plead with Amarjeet to stop insulting them. In a shocking moment, Amarjeet callously refers to her as an orphan. Meghla is taken aback but firmly tells Amarjeet that he can say anything about her, but not about her parents. Zoravar mocks Meghla, and Meher expresses her growing frustration with her. Balveer decides to take matters into his own hands by buying gifts, but Meghla begs him to wait until Chandan arrives.
Just then, Ranbir shows up and learns about the gifts being prepared. Meghla expresses her belief that there must be some misunderstanding. Zoravar seizes the moment to indirectly taunt Meher, upsetting her further.
Chandan arrives at Ranbir’s house, feeling confused by the family members’ cold behavior. To clear the air, Meher decides to show him the gifts. Param goes inside to fetch them, and Meghla confronts Chandan, accusing him of sending old and torn clothes as gifts for Ranbir’s family. She questions whether he is doing this because she is not his biological daughter. Hurt and shocked, Chandan listens as Arjun chastises Meghla for her behavior. Defending her actions, Meghla stands by Chandan, but Meher misinterprets the situation and questions Meghla’s intentions.
Zoravar interjects, stating that while he hasn’t accepted Meghla as his daughter-in-law yet, he reminds everyone that marriage is about joining two families, not just two individuals. At this point, Ranbir arrives.
Kamla tries to explain Chandan’s predicament and the reason behind their family’s behavior. Balveer asks Chandan if they have ever pressured him, assuring him that they would have happily accepted a situation where he could not provide gifts. He then expresses disappointment regarding Chandan’s actions. Amarjeet berates Chandan, but Chandan insists he would never do anything to insult them. Simran presents the gifts to Chandan, who is visibly shocked to see the condition of the old and torn clothes. Meher informs Chandan that Ranbir and Meghla received their gifts in good condition, which leaves Chandan feeling ashamed and pleading with them to trust that he had no involvement in this incident. Meghla asserts that Ranbir’s family does not deserve such humiliation, causing Chandan to break down emotionally.
Arjun tells Chandan that someone must be behind this scheme. Chandan, feeling lost, admits he doesn’t know the culprit but is embarrassed by the situation. Encouraged by Simran and others to discuss his suspicions, Chandan recalls his earlier conversation with Adrija. He resolves not to blame anyone without proof. Zoravar continues to taunt Chandan until Ranbir intervenes, pleading for him to stop. Chandan expresses his pain to Meghla, reminding her that she will always be considered his daughter. Ranbir tells Chandan that someone deliberately orchestrated this situation to humiliate both him and Meghla.
**Precap:** Ranbir tells his family a lie, claiming that Chandan has sent gifts for them. Just then, Chandan enters with gifts of his own, shocking Ranbir, Meghla, and the entire family as they realize the truth. Zoravar harshly criticizes Meghla, intensifying the tension.
