The episode begins with the Pandit instructing Raghav to distribute a bag to each Pandit present. As the tension rises, Raghav requests a brief delay for the ceremony since Unnati hasn’t arrived yet. The Pandit insists that the Pooja must commence on time, just as Unnati finally arrives.
Meanwhile, Reet arrives at an auto and begins her trek up Chandra Pahadi in search of sacred water. Anuradha expresses concern to Sharda about Reet venturing up the hill alone, to which Sharda admits that she tried to stop Reet, but her efforts were in vain.
As Reet ascends Chandra Pahadi, Unnati questions Sharda about her earlier remarks regarding Reet’s timing. Sharda explains that Reet is seeking forgiveness from Raghav. Unnati comments that Reet’s late arrival might be beneficial, allowing Raghav to focus on the Pooja without distractions. Viren overhears their conversation and assures Unnati that Sharda has made arrangements to ensure Reet won’t reach the temple on time.
After successfully retrieving the sacred water, Reet prepares to hail an auto when she notices a blind old woman pleading for help. Instinctively, she rushes to assist the woman.
Back at the temple, Raghav is anxious as he inquires about Reet’s whereabouts from Sharda and Unnati. Upon learning that Reet went to Chandra Pahadi, Raghav grows frustrated and expresses concern about what they should do if she doesn’t return in time.
After leading the old woman to her home, Reet assists her by lighting a Diya, only to find the door suddenly locked from the outside. The old woman reassures Reet that she will fetch help, leaving Reet trapped inside.
Meanwhile, it’s revealed that Viren has bribed the old woman to ensure Reet doesn’t arrive at the temple on time. As the old woman locks the door, Reet begins to pound on it, demanding to be let out.
Back at the temple, Raghav grows increasingly impatient with Reet’s absence, prompting Unnati to leave in frustration. Raghav follows her, asking what’s bothering her. Unnati expresses her anger, questioning how long Reet will continue to treat him as an enemy. Raghav insists he married Reet for her happiness, accepting any punishment that may come his way. The Pandit then informs them that only ten minutes remain until the auspicious time, compelling Raghav to prepare for the Pooja without Reet.
Desperate to escape, Reet discovers a window and breaks the wooden slats, managing to get free.
However, Viren informs Sharda of Reet’s escape and promises to prevent her from reaching the temple. As he spots Reet on the stairs, he scatters rose thorns in her path, causing her to injure her feet. Despite the pain, she discards the thorns and continues her ascent.
Anuradha sees Reet approaching and calls out to her, prompting Raghav to rush in and carry her the rest of the way up the temple steps. Poonam remarks to Reet that she arrived just in the nick of time.
