The episode begins with Bipasha informing Tanuja that she and Laal can easily move to a new flat, implying that their situations are not the same. Tanuja reminds her of the care she has given and questions how Bipasha could forget that. Apu playfully teases them for their argument, but Anjana asks him to stop and offers to serve. Lalon, however, insists that he will leave if Anjana serves, leading to a standoff as Tanuja and Bipasha refuse to help. Shubhankar then asks if he should serve, to which Lalon dismissively responds that the food isn’t tasty.
Aniruddh comments that since Anjana was cooking until yesterday, why can’t Tanuja do the same? Tanuja responds that she has never cooked in her life. This prompts Aniruddh to accuse her of exploiting others, but Anjana tries to calm him down and encourages everyone to eat, while Lalon insists that Anjana join him.
Bipasha complains to Laal about the mounting tensions, saying she might just return to her mother’s house if things continue like this. Lalon challenges them to leave immediately if they can’t handle it. Bipasha asserts she won’t be treated like a servant and warns Lalon not to cross his boundaries. Lalon scolds her, asserting his authority over the household rules.
Just then, Arshi enters and inquires if there is drama brewing again. She suggests that Aniruddh hire a cook since neither Tanuja nor Bipasha knows how to cook. Lalon, however, insists that a cook won’t work in his house and bluntly tells everyone to vacate if they can’t adapt. He instructs Arshi to discuss the matter with Shubhankar and Tanuja.
Shubhankar points out that Lalon is already controlling everything, but Lalon responds that Tanuja and Bipasha need to learn basic household responsibilities. He adds that Tanuja’s family won’t accept her either. Upset, Tanuja tells Lalon to shut up, but he retorts that she shouldn’t speak to him disrespectfully in his own home.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh expresses concern about Jhanak and hopes she is doing okay. Arshi reminds him to take care of himself since no one else will if he falls ill.
At Vihaan’s house, his friends arrive, encouraging him to open a clinic nearby and settle down. Akshar suggests that Vihaan considers it. Vihaan shares with Akshar that he’s aware of his personal issues, and his friend suggests inviting their friends from Kolkata for a “muh dikhai” ceremony, to which Vihaan agrees.
Vihaan then calls Aniruddh, reminding him that they studied together in college. Aniruddh recalls hearing that Vihaan settled in America. Vihaan mentions he has returned to India and invites Aniruddh to visit his village. However, Aniruddh declines, explaining that his wife is pregnant and cannot travel. Vihaan invites Aniruddh to his wife’s “muh dikhai” ceremony, planting the seed of an idea in Aniruddh’s mind about searching for Jhanak, who might be in Gujarat.
Meanwhile, Jhanak overhears Vihaan mentioning Aniruddh’s name and drops a vessel in shock. Ketki scolds her, while Vihaan tells Ketki that Jhanak didn’t have to do this work in America and will learn over time. Sejal reminds Jhanak to be careful since guests and Brahmins will eat her handmade food. Jhanak apologizes for the accident, but is met with skepticism, especially from Ketki, who criticizes Vihaan for his cooking attempts and doubts Jhanak’s culinary skills compared to others.
Back at Aniruddh’s place, he chastises Aditya for not finding Jhanak and expresses his worry over her well-being. Aditya admits he suspects Tejas is involved but is certain about Kul Bhushan’s involvement and reassures Aniruddh that the police are on the case. Aniruddh expresses frustration that Jhanak hasn’t called, wondering if she is in trouble.
**Precap:** Vihaan shares with Jhanak that he has invited his friend Aniruddh to their house.
