The episode begins with Jhanak expressing her belief that a girl can achieve anything if she is given an equal opportunity, just like a boy. However, she notes that society does not provide equal chances for girls and boys. Jhanak reflects on her own experience, stating that she received a chance which allowed her to secure a placement in her college. She expresses her gratitude to Indrani for helping her secure a room in the hostel and extends her thanks to everyone who has supported her along the way. Interestingly, she also thanks her haters, acknowledging that their negativity has given her the strength to fight for her dreams.
Sanjhbati praises Jhanak for her accomplishments. Aditi, however, dismisses the significance of the moment, pointing out that it is merely a debate competition and questioning the need for such an extensive speech. Arshi chimes in, recalling that Jhanak’s mother was similar in nature and labeling Jhanak as an irritating girl. Aniruddh, lost in thought, recalls Nutan’s speech and is momentarily distracted when Arshi asks him what he is pondering. He simply shakes his head in response. Arshi suggests that he must be impressed by Jhanak’s performance. Dadabhai comments to Putul that Jhanak is truly talented and predicts she will achieve great things in her life.
The host then invites Indrani to say a few words about the winners. Indrani praises Jhanak, urging everyone to applaud her achievements. She highlights that Jhanak comes from a small village but has accomplished so much already. Indrani expresses her hope that Jhanak will become the best doctor and emphasizes the importance of supporting students like her to make the country proud. In a grand gesture, she announces a special prize for Jhanak, prompting applause from the audience. The host concludes the event by thanking everyone for their attendance.
Later, Rishi informs his family that he will drop Sanjhbati home. Sanjhbati insists that she can manage on her own, but Rishi reassures her that he is happy to help. Dadabhai encourages Sanjhbati to continue visiting them. Aditi, wanting to accompany Rishi, suggests that she will join him to drop off Sanjhbati. Rishi tells her to go home and rest instead, inquiring if her parents have left. Aditi responds that her parents became irritated after witnessing Jhanak’s success and decided to leave, asserting that Jhanak did not deserve to win the competition.
Rishi defends Jhanak, stating that the judges made their decision based on her hard work. Aditi argues that Indrani should not have announced the extra prize money, implying that it would not have been given if someone else had won. Sanjhbati interjects, expressing her belief that Jhanak is very mature, and mentions that she is running late. Rishi then takes Sanjhbati away.
As they leave, they encounter Jhanak. Rishi calls out to her and introduces Sanjhbati. Jhanak compliments Sanjhbati’s singing, admitting she was moved by it. Sanjhbati reciprocates by praising Jhanak’s dance performance. Jhanak notes that Sanjhbati is different from others from the city, calling her beautiful and a good person. Rishi explains to Sanjhbati that many people do not treat Jhanak well simply because she is from a village, which is why Jhanak is expressing herself this way. He tells Jhanak how proud he is of her.
Sanjhbati remarks on Rishi’s high praise for Jhanak, to which Jhanak responds in disbelief. Rishi then asks Jhanak where she is headed, and she mentions she is going to the green room to change. He suggests that she shouldn’t change because she looks good as she is, surprising Jhanak. He encourages her to come with him, and she agrees.
Sanjhbati expresses her happiness at being able to talk with Jhanak. Jhanak shares that she feels a familial bond with Sanjhbati, who responds by saying she is happy to have met Jhanak and considers her like a little sister. Jhanak confides that she often faces insults for being a bit different. Sanjhbati reassures her that those who disrespect her will eventually regret it and come to respect her. Sanjhbati steps aside to take a phone call.
After a while, Aditi grows concerned that Rishi has not returned yet and is not answering her calls. Neelu suggests she contact Sanjhbati. Aditi expresses her opinion that Jhanak’s dance performance was not exceptional, despite Rishi being impressed. Tanushri argues that Mishti deserved to win the competition, expressing concern that Jhanak’s victory will lead her to become overly ambitious.
Meanwhile, Jhanak nearly slips on the stairs, but Rishi catches her just in time. They share a moment of eye contact before being brought back to reality by Sanjhbati’s voice, who asks if Jhanak is okay. Jhanak assures her that she is fine, but Rishi notices that her leg is bleeding and expresses concern, asking why she wasn’t more careful. Sanjhbati goes to fetch a first aid kit.
Jhanak insists to Rishi that her injury is not severe and that she is okay. However, Rishi is adamant that it must hurt her, and soon Sanjhbati returns with the first aid kit. Rishi carefully bandages Jhanak’s injury and then supports her as they walk.
In the upcoming scenes, Jhanak, in a drunken state, discusses her relationship with Rishi, while Mishti records the conversation. Aayush, overhearing this, is left in shock.
