Rishi, determined, asserts that he wants to be part of Nutan’s shradh, which surprises Jhanak. She presses him, asking what has suddenly motivated him to show such sympathy, especially given that they do not share a close relationship. Rishi admits he doesn’t fully understand his feelings but feels compelled to stay. Jhanak points out that his decision is unfair to Aditi, but Rishi insists he will discuss it with her. The next day, Parashar instructs Mangal to limit the number of guests for the shradh ceremony. Just then, Shakhi arrives with Aditi, who expresses a sense of familiarity with the house. Curious about Rishi’s whereabouts, she asks Parashar where he is. Parashar, surprised by her presence, inquires about her reason for coming, and Aditi reveals that she wants to meet Rishi. Mangal informs her that Rishi and Jhanak are still asleep.
