He emphasizes that his intention is not to demean Mishti but rather to acknowledge Jhanak’s hard work. Abhimanyu intervenes, advising Tanushri to let it go, as he believes Dadabhai will not change his perspective. Dadabhai further points out that Mishti, who has had more privileges, has not performed as well academically as Jhanak. He suggests that Mishti should take inspiration from Jhanak’s dedication and focus on her studies instead of spending time socializing with her friends.

Jhanak overhears their conversation, and Aditi expresses her desire for Rishi to focus on their future together, even suggesting they should plan for a baby. Jhanak internally thinks that Rishi should not be concerned about her wellbeing. Aditi expresses her frustration, stating that it is inappropriate for Jhanak to listen in on private conversations between a husband and wife. He reassures her that Jhanak poses no threat to him. Arshi responds, expressing her disbelief and concern that Jhanak should not be part of Aditi’s life, insisting that they must find a way to remove Jhanak from their lives entirely.
Later, Sanjhbati arrives at the Chatterjee household with her family. Tanushri expresses her happiness that everyone has agreed to the marriage, while Aditi suggests that they should plan for an extravagant wedding. Putul inquires whether Sanjhbati will continue her singing career.
