Jhanak 17th December 2025: Jhanak Gets Blamed!

The episode opens with a tense scene as Rishi suddenly notices that the kitchen is engulfed in flames. Alarmed, he quickly rushes toward the kitchen, prompting others nearby to follow suit. In the midst of the chaos, Arshi questions who could have caused such a disaster on what is supposed to be an auspicious day. A waiter informs them that a girl had entered the kitchen moments before the fire broke out. Rishi’s heart sinks as he realizes that it is Jhanak who is trapped inside. He shouts her name in desperation, and the others soon catch sight of her struggling to breathe amidst the smoke. As panic sets in, Jhanak collapses, losing consciousness.

Without a moment to lose, Rishi forcefully breaks down the kitchen door and rushes inside to save her. He manages to bring Jhanak out into the open air, where Tanushri anxiously asks if he is alright. Rishi, still in shock, splashes water on Jhanak’s face, but she remains unresponsive. Growing increasingly worried, he insists that they need to take her to the hospital. Dritimaan volunteers to fetch the car, while Aniruddh urges Rishi to check if Jhanak is truly okay. Rishi glares at Aniruddh, accusing him of secretly wanting Jhanak to die. He then carries Jhanak away, leaving the others in stunned silence.

Indumati questions Rishi’s reckless decision to risk his life for Jhanak, while Aditi expresses her belief that Jhanak poses a danger to Rishi. Arshi, on the other hand, ominously suggests that Jhanak might already be dead.

After some time, Rishi arrives at the hospital with Jhanak, who is still unconscious. Aditi confronts him, demanding to know why he put himself in danger. Rishi firmly replies that he could never allow Jhanak to die and insists they should not discuss it further in the hospital. Neelu adds her voice to the criticism, calling Jhanak a curse to their family. Rishi, maintaining his stance, reminds them that they are in a hospital and that Jhanak’s sacrifice allowed Aditi to become part of the Chatterjee family. Aditi retorts, reminding Rishi that their lives were intertwined long before Jhanak came into the picture. Arshi tries to mediate, asking Aditi to calm down.

Dritimaan suggests that they need to investigate the fire incident, with Aditi immediately blaming Jhanak’s carelessness for the disaster. Rishi, however, asserts that he has already informed the police and hopes that crucial evidence hasn’t been destroyed in the fire. Aniruddh dismisses the idea of foul play, stating that only family members were present. Rishi counters that it must have been the work of an outsider, suggesting that Jhanak has an enemy who orchestrated the fire. Aditi questions the motive behind such an attack, and Rishi emphasizes the necessity of an investigation. He arranges for Sanjhbati to stay with Jhanak and apologizes to Dritimaan for the chaos. Aditi insists that Jhanak is to blame for everything, but Rishi counters that someone intentionally tried to harm her, ruining the Aashirwad ceremony in the process.

Meanwhile, Jhanak begins to regain consciousness. Sanjhbati reassures her not to be afraid. Jhanak, feeling guilty, laments that she ruined the Aashirwad ceremony. Sanjhbati comforts her, urging her not to blame herself. Rishi and Dritimaan arrive, and Rishi checks on Jhanak, coughing slightly. Jhanak, concerned, asks if he is okay, to which Rishi responds affirmatively. Aditi and Neelu soon join them, and Jhanak pleads with Aditi not to be angry. She explains that she entered the kitchen to assist the waiter and has no idea how the fire started. Aditi, still upset, blames Jhanak for Rishi’s condition and expresses her fear of what could have happened to him.

Sanjhbati insists that the doctor should also examine Rishi. When the doctor arrives, Rishi explains the situation, mentioning a burning sensation he feels. The doctor advises that Rishi should be admitted for two days of observation and check-ups. Dritimaan reassures Rishi that he will take both him and Jhanak home after their stay. Aditi, however, states her primary concern is Rishi’s well-being. Sanjhbati reminds her that both Rishi and Jhanak are affected by the incident. Aditi argues that she understands her priorities, while Neelu continues to blame Jhanak for the fire.

Jhanak explains that she smelled something unusual when she went into the kitchen, but she has no idea how the fire ignited. Rishi advises her to take care of herself before heading off with the doctor for his examination.

In another part of the hospital, Tanushri confides in Indumati about her fears. Indumati reassures her that Rishi will be fine, noting that Aditi is there to look after him. Tanushri expresses her confusion over why Rishi would risk his life for Jhanak, lamenting that he doesn’t seem to heed their warnings. She holds Jhanak responsible for their collective distress. Dadabhai interjects, defending Jhanak’s character. Just then, Abhimanyu arrives with news that Rishi has been admitted for observation, which causes Tanushri to panic and cry.

Neelu informs Aditi that Rishi’s room is located near Jhanak’s. Aditi, with a hint of sarcasm, remarks that Rishi will surely take care of Jhanak. Neelu criticizes Aditi for bringing Jhanak into their home, but Aditi defends her decision, stating that she wanted to keep an eye on both Rishi and Jhanak. Aditi expresses her frustration, saying she cannot remain with Rishi if he continues to care for Jhanak. Neelu insists that Aditi is the only one who has rights to Rishi and the Chatterjee family. Aditi, feeling defeated, questions the value of those rights if Rishi no longer has feelings for her. She observes that Rishi has changed, noting that he would not have risked his life for her in the past. Neelu argues that Rishi’s kind heart is the reason for his actions.

Later, Rishi and Jhanak share a moment, gazing at each other and reminiscing about the times they have spent together, their expressions filled with unspoken emotions.

In the upcoming scenes, Jhanak makes a bold statement to a group of journalists, revealing that Aniruddh is her father. She accuses him of betraying her mother and declares her readiness to prove her claim with a DNA test, setting the stage for further drama and revelations.
