The episode begins with a tense atmosphere as Dritimaan approaches Jhanak, urging her to leave the hospital. He reminds her that the rules are strict and that no one is allowed to stay overnight. Jhanak, however, insists that he shouldn’t worry about her and urges him to go home. Dritimaan expresses his concern for her well-being and advises her to speak to the doctor about her condition, reminding her not to be scared.
Jhanak’s mind is elsewhere, filled with worry about Rishi. She blames herself for his current condition, feeling guilty for the fire accident that led to his injuries. Sanjhbati, sensing her distress, reassures Jhanak that Rishi is fine and that she will open the door so Jhanak can see him. However, Jhanak pleads with Sanjhbati not to do that, tears streaming down her face as she expresses her fears. Dritimaan tries to comfort her, insisting that she shouldn’t blame herself for what happened. Jhanak reiterates that she is not responsible for the fire, to which Sanjhbati agrees, assuring her that Rishi will uncover the truth about who is behind the incident. With a heavy heart, Dritimaan and Sanjhbati leave the room, leaving Jhanak alone with her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Aditi is with Rishi, preparing to leave the hospital as the staff has informed her that she cannot stay. Rishi tells her to go home and get some rest. Aditi confronts him, suggesting that he is relieved by her departure. Neelu, Rishi’s family member, reminds him that Aditi is his wife, emphasizing the importance of their relationship. Aditi, feeling hurt and betrayed, questions Rishi about why he didn’t think of her before risking his life for Jhanak. Rishi, exhausted, simply states that he wants to rest, prompting Aditi to remind him to take care of himself. With that, she leaves the room alongside Neelu, leaving Rishi to reflect on the situation.
In the hospital corridor, Jhanak and Rishi finally lock eyes, their connection palpable despite the circumstances. Rishi asks a nurse about Jhanak’s condition, and she informs him that Jhanak will be fine soon. Curiously, she inquires if Jhanak is his wife, to which Rishi proudly replies affirmatively. The nurse then offers Rishi the chance to see Jhanak, but he decides to wait, wanting to ensure she gets the rest she needs.
Meanwhile, Jhanak is also concerned about Rishi. She asks a nurse about his condition, and the nurse reassures her that he is fine and will be discharged the next day. She also asks if Rishi is her husband, to which Jhanak responds with a nod, confirming their bond. The nurse suggests calling Rishi to the room, but Jhanak insists that he should rest.
Rishi soon enters the room, and the nurse informs him that Jhanak was inquiring about him. She emphasizes that during tough times, husbands and wives should support each other. As the nurse leaves, Rishi and Jhanak share a significant eye lock, the emotional connection between them deepening as the song “Aankhon Mein Dekho Hamari” plays softly in the background. Jhanak, overwhelmed with emotion, asks Rishi why he risked his life for her. Rishi replies, “Who else will save you?” Jhanak insists that his life is precious, but Rishi counters that her life is equally important to him. He vows to investigate the fire accident and urges her to expose Aniruddh, whom he believes is responsible for their troubles.
Jhanak, taken aback by Rishi’s words, pleads with him not to take any drastic actions. Rishi reassures her that she is not ruining anyone’s life by fighting for her rights. However, Jhanak fears that Aditi will leave him if he pursues this course of action. Rishi admits that he cannot love Aditi the way he loves Jhanak. He expresses his desire to free Aditi from their marriage, but Jhanak urges him to keep her out of it. Rishi, determined, insists that he will not let her go and declares that he will marry Jhanak if Aditi agrees to a divorce.
Meanwhile, Parashar is at home, visibly worried about Jhanak. He scolds Dhamu for pressuring Jhanak to marry Rishi, insisting that it’s not the time for such decisions. Kanka tries to calm them down, pointing out that they need to focus on Jhanak’s well-being. Parashar decides to call Dadabhai, hoping to get an update on Jhanak’s condition. Dhamu makes the call and hands the phone to Parashar. Parashar asks Dadabhai if everything is alright, mentioning that Jhanak said she was staying at the Chatterjee house. He requests to speak to Jhanak, but Abhimanyu advises Dadabhai not to disclose her condition to Parashar, fearing that he might cause more problems for Rishi. Despite his concerns, Dadabhai informs Parashar that Jhanak is admitted to the hospital, which causes Parashar to panic. He demands to know what happened, and Dadabhai reluctantly explains the situation. Tanushri criticizes Dadabhai for caring only about Jhanak and not about Rishi.
Back at the hospital, Rishi tells Jhanak that he didn’t think about anything when he saw her in danger during the fire. He urges her to tell him if she loves him, requesting a clear answer. Jhanak, feeling vulnerable, admits that she does love Rishi, but she also expresses her fear of him getting hurt. As the song “Saiyaan” plays in the background, Rishi expresses his desire for a new life together, stating that no one can come between them. Jhanak, however, reminds him that Aditi is already his wife and that she cannot betray her sister. Rishi insists that only Jhanak has the right to his love, emphasizing the depth of his feelings for her.
The following day, Parashar confronts Jhanak, expressing his frustration that she seems to be the only one facing difficulties. He suggests they leave the hospital, but Jhanak urges him to calm down. Dhamu interjects, claiming that city people will harm Jhanak, but she reassures them that it was just an accident. Parashar, still upset, scolds Rishi, who responds defiantly, telling Parashar to be quiet. Parashar warns Rishi not to speak to him like that, leading to further tension. Aditi, feeling overwhelmed, complains to a nurse about Parashar’s behavior, while Aniruddh orders the nurse to throw Parashar out of the hospital.
Parashar confronts Aniruddh, demanding respect and reminding Aditi that he raised her for five years. Jhanak intervenes, telling everyone to stop arguing. Aditi accuses Nutan of planning to sell her, which prompts Jhanak to warn her not to insult Nutan again. She then turns to Aniruddh, vowing that he will see her new side. Sanjhbati enters, asking Jhanak why she isn’t resting, and Jhanak explains that she signed some papers due to Aniruddh’s pressure. Rishi, sensing the tension, suggests they take Jhanak home. Aditi, however, states that she won’t return home if Jhanak is there, leaving Rishi to declare that it is ultimately Aditi’s choice.
In the precap, Jhanak takes a bold step by addressing journalists, declaring that Aniruddh is her father and that she is ready to prove it with a DNA test. This declaration signifies her determination to confront the truth and fight for her rights, setting the stage for intense drama and conflict in the episodes to come.
