The episode opens with Jhanak expressing her heartfelt concern to Putul about Aditi, feeling a deep sense of empathy for her. Jhanak believes that Aditi has done nothing wrong and deserves a chance at happiness. She confides in Putul that she wishes for Rishi to marry Aditi, despite Rishi not being anyone significant to her. Overwhelmed by her emotions, Jhanak decides to seek out Nutan, hoping to share her feelings and perhaps find some solace. As she approaches Nutan, tears spill down her cheeks, reflecting her distress over the situation.
Meanwhile, Parashar is visibly concerned and questions Nutan about allowing Jhanak to go off alone in her fragile state. Nutan explains that Jhanak was determined and did not heed her advice. Parashar, feeling a sense of responsibility, mentions that Dadabhai is Jhanak’s in-law, and he intends to visit him. Nutan agrees with his assessment, recognizing the importance of family during difficult times. Parashar insists that Nutan should inform Jhanak of his plans to go to Kolkata. Nutan shares her worry that Jhanak hasn’t reached out since arriving, highlighting the affection that Rishi’s family has for Jhanak. Parashar reassures her that Rishi will eventually come to love Jhanak, as she is indeed a special person.
As the tension builds, Nutan receives a call from Jhanak. She quickly asks if Jhanak has arrived in Kolkata and then hands the phone over to Parashar. Concerned, Parashar inquires about Dadabhai’s health. Jhanak informs him that Dadabhai’s operation has yet to begin due to his weakness, explaining that she has been by his side, which is why she couldn’t call earlier. Parashar comforts her, urging her not to worry, as he believes Dadabhai will recover. He tells Jhanak that he plans to travel to Kolkata the next day to support Dadabhai during this challenging time. However, Jhanak insists that his presence isn’t necessary, but Parashar is resolute, stating that he must be there for Dadabhai and ends the call.
After the call, Jhanak shares with Putul that both Parashar and Nutan have decided to come to Kolkata. Putul encourages Jhanak to allow them to come, emphasizing the importance of family support. Jhanak, however, confides that she hasn’t revealed the entire truth to her family yet, expressing her concerns. Putul reassures her, promising that she will not allow anyone to disrespect Jhanak’s family.
Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Indumati is distraught, crying over her husband, whom she considers everything to her. Tanushri tries to console her, but Indumati’s grief is palpable. She expresses how much she misses her son, Riddhiman, feeling the weight of his absence. Payal interjects, reminding Indumati that it’s Riddhiman who has chosen to sever ties with them. Indumati, heartbroken, explains that she has poured all her love into Rishi, hoping to fill the void left by Riddhiman.
Back at the hospital, Rishi anxiously asks Surjeet about the expected duration of Dadabhai’s operation. Surjeet responds that it’s a critical procedure and will take some time. Abhimanyu, sensing Rishi’s distress, asks him about Aditi’s feelings. Rishi expresses his frustration, claiming that Jhanak has ruined everything. He inquires whether Jhanak has left yet, to which Surjeet reassures him that she is still with Putul and would not leave without speaking to Dadabhai first.
Rishi, feeling trapped, confesses to Abhimanyu that he has told Aditi he is willing to leave his family for her, a revelation that shocks Abhimanyu. Rishi insists that he sees no other option, prompting Surjeet to caution him against making hasty decisions. Rishi, however, believes that such a drastic step might be necessary in the future. Abhimanyu, heartbroken by Rishi’s words, suggests they focus on the present and not dwell on such heavy matters. Just then, Aniruddh enters, bringing news that Dadabhai will be alright, which momentarily lifts the spirits of those present.
Meanwhile, Jhanak reassures Putul that she believes nothing will happen to Dadabhai. In a moment of faith, she asks Putul to bring her Kuldevta from home, expressing her belief that her Kuldevta has always fulfilled her prayers. Putul readily agrees to fetch the idol, determined to support Jhanak in her time of need.
In the precap, Aniruddh approaches Phool, curious about her presence in the hospital and when she arrived. Aditi explains that Phool came to see Dadabhai but decided to stay. The doctor then arrives, urgently stating that they need O negative blood to save Dadabhai. In a moment of bravery and selflessness, Phool reveals that her blood type is O negative and volunteers to donate blood to help save Dadabhai’s life.
