The episode opens with Ketki threatening to kick Prachi out of the house. In her defense, Jhanak steps in, asserting that Ketki has no legal grounds to do so. She reminds Ketki of all that Prachi has contributed to the family and suggests that just because Prachi supports Priyashi’s ambitions doesn’t mean she should face expulsion. Ketki, feeling cornered, reprimands Jhanak for trying to educate her about the law. Mahek, sympathizing with Jhanak, expresses her hurt at Ketki’s harsh treatment. Sejal intervenes, sharing her own experiences from her in-laws’ house, claiming that once married, a daughter becomes merely a guest. Mahek insists she is still a daughter of this home and knows her rights, lamenting that if her family treats her like a guest, there’s little she can do about it.
As tensions rise, Ketki demands that they cease the fighting and accuses Jhanak of manipulating the situation. Jhanak counters, pleading with Ketki to understand Priyashi’s dreams. Ketki remains firm, asserting that Priyashi will only pursue her ambitions after marriage.
Priyashi then requests permission to attend a program scheduled for a day before the wedding. Ketki firmly states that no one goes out right before a marriage and threatens to call off the wedding if Priyashi leaves. In a bold move, Priyashi tells Ketki that she’s not interested in getting married and instead wants to focus on her education. Frustrated, Ketki turns to Prachi, asking her to make Priyashi see sense. Sejal chimes in, saying that Priyashi is making a mistake, expressing her own concerns about Riddhi spending time with Jhanak. Jhanak, however, asserts that Riddhi enjoys visiting her, which is why she comes over.
In another subplot, Arshi reassures Anirudh that Jhanak is safe, and Anirudh checks in with her to see if she’s packed all her belongings.
Meanwhile, Jhanak has a tender moment with Ahaan, asking if he will miss her once she leaves, expressing her love for him and wishing him goodnight. Vihaan overhears their conversation. After Ahaan falls asleep, Jhanak gently places him in bed. Vihaan enters and mentions that Pulkit is standing up for Priyanshi, indicating he wants the wedding to proceed without issues. Jhanak, taken aback, clarifies that she is not the cause of any problems. He cautions her not to interfere with Priyanshi’s inter-school competition and informs her that Anirudh and Arshi will be arriving soon.
Vihaan admits he knows little about Jhanak’s past and suggests that she can leave at any time, but he hopes to become her friend. Jhanak encourages him to tell his family the truth someday. When Vihaan mentions the possibility of marriage, she brushes off the topic, saying they shouldn’t discuss it further. He declares he will wait until she’s ready to share her past, adding that Anirudh claimed to have seen Jhanak in Kolkata. She dismisses this, insisting Anirudh must have been mistaken, which raises Vihaan’s suspicions about her hidden truth.
