The episode opens with Ankush observing as his men arrive at Indranath’s residence. He informs the maid that some guests have come, instructing her to allow them entry. The maid inquires if Indranath has a meeting scheduled with these guests as well, to which Ankush replies that Indranath is preoccupied with numerous tasks that must be completed before he can be admitted to the hospital.
The maid then mentions that a few guests are already in Indranath’s room. Ankush reassures her not to worry about it, telling her that her duties are finished for the day and she can leave. The maid nods in acknowledgment and departs, allowing Ankush to proceed.
Upon entering, Ankush instructs the security guard to prevent anyone from entering the house. He smirks as he sees his men and makes his way to Indranath’s room, where he informs Indranath that the hospital requires him to be admitted that very day. Indranath, confused, asks why the hospital had postponed his admission. Ankush explains that the hospital needs to conduct several tests on him before his surgery, which is why the delay occurred. Indranath nods in understanding.
Jhanak, present in the room, asks Ankush if Indranath will be admitted to Jeevan Hospital. Ankush confirms this, and Jhanak mentions that her college has permitted them to visit patients starting today, so she will be able to see Indranath there.
Banumati expresses her intention to accompany Indranath to the hospital. Ankush assures her that he has made arrangements for her stay as well. Jhanak states that they should leave soon, but Ankush advises them to wait until Indranath departs to avoid getting caught in traffic. He informs Indranath that he will arrive at the hospital later, as he has some matters to attend to first. With that, Indranath and Banumati leave the house, while Ankush instructs Rishi and Jhanak to remain behind.
Shortly thereafter, Ankush’s men seize Jhanak and Rishi, causing Jhanak to protest and scream for Rishi. The men lock Rishi and Jhanak inside a room and brandish guns at them. Ankush arrives, and Rishi demands to know what is happening. Ankush calmly states that he does not intend to keep them there indefinitely and may release them once he has completed his tasks. Rishi, frustrated, questions the absurdity of the situation.
Ankush explains that Indranath and Banumati have already left for the hospital and that he intends to monitor their every move. He then tells Jhanak that she will need to act as Indranath’s nurse. Confused, Jhanak asks him what he truly wants and why he is resorting to such extreme measures.
Ankush chillingly reveals his intention for Indranath to die. In a fit of anger, Rishi grabs Ankush by the collar, but Ankush warns him not to challenge him again. Jhanak urges Rishi to calm down, while Ankush taunts Rishi about his marital status, suggesting that his presence in the room with Jhanak is inappropriate. Rishi glares at Ankush, and Jhanak expresses her disappointment, stating she never expected him to behave this way.
Ankush reflects on his past, revealing that he was not always like this; his parents were killed for no reason, leaving him without a family, and he feels betrayed by Indranath, who never loved him but merely used him. Rishi asserts that Jhanak cannot be forced to do Ankush’s bidding. However, Ankush insists that Jhanak must comply and even offers her money for her cooperation. Jhanak firmly states that she is not motivated by greed and does not want the money.
Unfazed, Ankush threatens to kill Rishi if she does not follow his orders, pointing the gun at Rishi and pulling the trigger. Jhanak screams, only to realize moments later that the gun was not loaded. She pleads with Ankush not to go through with this, but Ankush coldly questions whether she can bear the thought of Rishi dying. He insists that Jhanak must do his bidding if she wants to keep Rishi alive, making it clear that she has no other option. He admits that bringing her there was part of his plan all along.
Rishi protests, stating that Jhanak will not comply with Ankush’s demands. Ankush retorts, suggesting that nothing would have happened to Rishi if Jhanak had listened to him earlier.
Meanwhile, Putul expresses concern to Dadabhai about Jhanak and Rishi’s phones being unreachable. Neelu tries to calm everyone, asserting that Jhanak is not a child who needs constant supervision. Dritimaan remarks on Ankush’s suspicious behavior, while Payal wonders if Aditi might have any information. Tanushri calls Aditi to check on her, asking if Rishi is with her. Aditi responds that she is fine but does not know where Rishi is, leading Tanushri to relay this troubling news to her family.
Putul raises the possibility that Ankush might be involved in their disappearance, but Neelu reassures them that Rishi is with Jhanak and would not let anything happen to her, speculating that they may have simply gone out for dinner.
In another scene, Arshi questions Aniruddh about whether Jhanak has been in touch with him. Aniruddh expresses doubt that Jhanak would reach out to him, reflecting on how she could have asked for many things but chose not to. He urges Arshi not to feel insecure.
Arshi accuses him of hiding the truth from her and Aditi, while Aditi expresses her belief that Aniruddh must have known Jhanak was his daughter all along. Aniruddh defends himself, stating that he would not have attempted to harm Jhanak if he had known the truth then. Anjana informs Aniruddh that Jhanak and Rishi have not returned home yet.
Arshi speculates that they are likely spending time together, which causes Aditi to feel hurt. Aniruddh defends both Rishi and Jhanak, leading to tension as Arshi confronts him about his actions toward her and Aditi. She demands to know why he cares about them, to which Aniruddh responds that Jhanak is his daughter and Rishi is his son-in-law. Aditi interjects, expressing her frustration that no one seems to care about her feelings.
Arshi challenges Aniruddh to choose whom he will support, leaving the room angrily.
In the precap, Ankush ominously informs Jhanak that Indranath must die, warning her not to try to outsmart him. He chillingly adds that even Parashar is within his sights, leaving Jhanak in shock at the revelation.
