The episode opens with Aditi inquiring about Aniruddh’s destination, which catches everyone off guard, as they are surprised to see her there. Aniruddh responds to Aditi by stating that he is leaving. In turn, Aditi insists that he cannot go anywhere, expressing her concern for him. She points out that he has been careless, having brought the wrong jewelry, and reassures him that she has brought the correct pieces. Parashar, feeling guilty, apologizes to Aniruddh for the mix-up. Aniruddh acknowledges his mistake, apologizing in return. Koushik observes that it seems they arrived just in time to witness this exchange.
Aditi then speaks to Jhanak, affirming that Aniruddh is not a betrayer and highlighting his pure-hearted nature. Jhanak expresses her understanding of this, mentioning that she did not suspect Aniruddh for that very reason. Aditi takes a moment to compliment both Jhanak and Rishi, but soon mentions that she has to leave due to other commitments. Parashar encourages her to stay a bit longer, but Koushik interjects, stating that Aditi cannot remain there. Rishi, however, supports Aditi’s right to make her own decision regarding her presence.
As the scene unfolds, Aditi assists Jhanak in adorning herself with gold jewelry before approaching Aniruddh. Meanwhile, Rishi and Jhanak make their way to the marriage mandap, where the marriage rituals are set to begin. The elders shower the couple with flowers, and Putul playfully encourages Jhanak to look at Rishi’s face without shyness. The moment arrives for Jhanak and Rishi to exchange their marriage garlands, prompting applause from the gathered guests.
Once seated at the mandap, the priest begins chanting the sacred mantras. Jhanak, noticing Rishi’s distracted demeanor, suggests that he seems eager to speak with Aditi. Rishi confirms that he would like to talk to her, and Jhanak encourages him to express his gratitude to Aditi first. Rishi approaches Aditi and pulls her aside for a private conversation. Koushik then reminds Aditi that she has forgotten to give something important to Rishi. Aditi reflects on whether she should have met Rishi on such a significant day for him. Rishi reassures her that while their romantic relationship has ended, they still share a friendship.
In a significant moment, Aditi hands Rishi a divorce certificate, explaining that it serves as a special gift since he desired freedom. Rishi is taken aback, asking if this is the reason she came to see him. Aditi admits that while she initially intended to bring jewelry, she felt it was necessary to include the divorce certificate as well. Koushik indicates that he will wait in the car, but Aditi asks him to remain there for a moment longer. Rishi expresses his gratitude for Aditi’s presence and requests her blessing for him and Jhanak. He then calls for Jhanak, who joins them.
Aditi congratulates Jhanak warmly and tells Koushik that it’s time for them to leave. Rishi, realizing that Aditi arrived in Koushik’s car, gets into a heated argument with him. Aditi intervenes, urging Rishi to focus on celebrating his special day and asserting her independence by stating that she can make her own choices. Rishi heads back inside, while Aditi departs with Koushik.
As Jhanak and Rishi settle back at the mandap, Neelu comments on how Anjana must be feeling for Aditi. At that moment, police officers arrive at the temple, prompting Veer to pull Aniruddh aside to inform him of their presence. Aniruddh quickly notices the police and learns from Veer that they may be there to arrest Parashar. He reassures Veer not to worry.
Aniruddh approaches the police inspector to inquire about the situation. The inspector reveals that they are searching for Parashar and asks if he is inside the temple. Just then, a senior officer arrives and questions Aniruddh about his presence there. Sakhi misinterprets the situation, thinking that Aniruddh has called the police to apprehend Parashar.
Aniruddh explains to the senior officer that his daughter’s wedding is taking place at the temple and requests that they do not disrupt the ceremony. The officer agrees not to take action that day but indicates he will return the following day. Aniruddh pleads with him to come back in the afternoon, as the bidaai ceremony will occur in the morning. The officer consents and departs with his team.
As the marriage rituals continue, Rishi and Jhanak share a tender moment, with Rishi applying vermilion to Jhanak’s forehead and embracing her gently. Sakhi approaches Aniruddh to inquire about the police’s intentions. Aniruddh advises her that they need to keep Parashar hidden for the time being.
Sakhi apologizes for her earlier misunderstanding. Aniruddh emphasizes that Jhanak’s happiness is paramount, and they must keep the police’s visit a secret. He instructs Mangal to take Parashar to a safe location. In a sweet exchange, Jhanak places a ring on Rishi’s finger, followed by Rishi doing the same for her.
In the upcoming scene, Sakhi encourages Rishi to take good care of Jhanak. Rishi promises to ensure that Jhanak receives the respect she deserves in his household. Jhanak takes a moment to remind the villagers to look after themselves and Parashar as she prepares to perform the bidaai ritual.
