Jhanak 24th April 2026 : Jhanak Exposes Surojit’s Letter—Payal Breaks Down

The episode begins with Jhanak busy tidying up Payal’s room when she stumbles upon a letter belonging to Surojit. Curiosity piqued, she begins to read it, only to be interrupted by Payal’s sudden arrival. Payal, noticing Jhanak’s presence in her room, immediately questions what she is doing there. Jhanak, caught off guard, replies that she was merely cleaning the room.

However, Payal’s sharp gaze lands on the letter Jhanak is holding, and she accuses her of reading it. Jhanak, feeling cornered, lies and insists that she did not read the letter. Payal, unconvinced, asserts that she saw the letter in Jhanak’s hand and demands to know the truth.

Jhanak tries to defend herself, stating that she merely found the letter while cleaning and pleads with Payal to trust her. Payal, however, is not in a forgiving mood. She warns Jhanak not to speak of the letter to anyone, her tone filled with a mixture of anger and hurt.

Eventually, Jhanak admits that she did read the letter, explaining that her concern for Payal prompted her to do so. She expresses her disapproval of Surojit’s actions, but Payal quickly retorts, questioning Jhanak’s right to judge him.

She accuses Jhanak of believing she can mend relationships simply because she played a part in Putul and Arya’s reunion. Payal then challenges Jhanak, asking why she didn’t help reunite Aditi and Rishi instead of inserting herself into their lives.

A frustrated Jhanak asks what Payal is getting at. Payal continues, asserting that Jhanak cannot fix everything and that she doesn’t want sympathy from her. She insists that Aditi understands her pain far better than Jhanak ever could.

Jhanak tries to clarify that she attempted to step back but ultimately fell for Rishi, hoping to alleviate the misunderstanding. Payal, however, remains resolute, stating that not everyone’s life is the same and dismissing Jhanak’s feelings.

Feeling empathetic, Jhanak tells Payal that she genuinely feels bad for her situation and expresses her hope that Surojit will return for Payal. But Payal vehemently declares that she would never accept Surojit back, citing his betrayal and her inability to leave the house due to family obligations. She confesses her hatred for Surojit and insists that she does not wish to discuss him any further.

As a final warning, she threatens to leave the house if Jhanak tells anyone about the letter. Jhanak reassures her that she won’t reveal anything and gently urges Payal to find a way to be happy. With tears in her eyes, Payal sends Jhanak away, leaving her to process her emotions alone.

Later, the atmosphere shifts to a more lighthearted setting as Dritimaan, Rishi, and Jhanak take to the stage to perform a skit. Unfortunately, their act is riddled with mistakes, drawing laughter from Dadabhai and Abhimanyu. Indumati and Tanushri follow suit, but they too forget their lines, leading to more teasing from Dadabhai.

As the performance wraps up, Aditi and Aniruddh arrive, and Jhanak greets them, noting that they are late. Dadabhai humorously informs them that they missed a world-class act, while Aniruddh apologizes to Jhanak for missing her performance.

Dadabhai, with a twinkle in his eye, tells Aniruddh he should feel lucky to have missed it. Jhanak, ever the professional, informs everyone that a still dance is yet to come. Aditi encourages Jhanak to continue, but Dadabhai playfully tells her to stop interrupting.

Jhanak praises everyone’s acting skills, noting that the atmosphere is cheerful. Rishi joins the group, welcoming Aditi and Aniruddh, while Dadabhai insists that Aniruddh must stay for a meal before leaving.

As the gathering progresses, Aditi notices Payal standing alone and approaches her, asking why she seems unwell. Payal, feeling overwhelmed, replies that she’s not feeling well and excuses herself to go inside.

Jhanak, observing the shift in mood, suggests that the entertainment is over and it’s time to head inside. Rishi, wanting to lighten the mood, tells Aditi they should go inside, but Aditi teasingly asks what room she has there.

Rishi laughs, explaining he was speaking generally for everyone, and their playful banter brings a smile to Jhanak’s face, though she can’t shake the feeling of being left out.

As the group heads inside, Jhanak reflects on how Rishi didn’t even notice her standing there alone. Aditi, meanwhile, sees Jhanak’s solitude as an opportunity. She thinks to herself that she can defeat Jhanak if she plays her cards right and resolves to make sure Rishi and Koushik understand that Jhanak is not infallible.

Aditi calls Jhanak to come inside, a smirk on her face as she plots her next move.

The episode concludes.

In the precap, Aditi and Koushik witness Rishi and Jhanak celebrating Holi together. Rishi casually comments on Dadabhai’s whereabouts, to which Jhanak replies that he must be in his room, grumpy as usual.

Rishi, slightly taken aback, warns her not to speak about Dadabhai that way and refuses to bless her, expressing his discontent. Indumati chimes in, questioning how Rishi can treat Jhanak like that just because he’s reminded of Aditi.
