Jhanak 26th August 2025: Rishi Takes Jhanak’s Responsibility!

The episode opens with Dadabhai in a state of concern, asking Aditi about Jhanak’s condition. Aditi, visibly upset, informs them that Rishi has admitted Jhanak to the hospital following her accident. Her voice trembles with emotion as she expresses her intention to go home. Abhimanyu, noticing her distress, inquires why she is crying. Aditi explains that Rishi is with Jhanak and didn’t inform her about the situation until now, which adds to her frustration and hurt.

Payal suggests that they should go to the hospital to support Rishi and Jhanak during this critical time. Abhimanyu, however, expresses his worries, hoping that Jhanak’s injuries are not severe. He reminds the group that if anything happens to Jhanak, the people from Simulboni may turn against them, escalating the already tense situation.

Despite the urgency, Aditi remains resolute in her decision to return home. Putul challenges her, asking if she won’t support Rishi during such a difficult time. Aditi, feeling the weight of past grievances, replies that she has faced numerous problems because of Jhanak and cannot ignore that history. With that, she leaves, leaving the others to ponder her decision. Dadabhai prepares to head to the hospital, but Abhimanyu and Putul urge him to rest instead, concerned for his well-being.

Meanwhile, at another location, Aniruddh expresses his belief that Rishi is intelligent enough not to fall into any traps. Arshi counters this assertion, reminding him that he himself once fell into Jhanak’s trap, despite considering himself clever. Aniruddh insists that he hasn’t spoken about Jhanak in years, trying to distance himself from the past. Arshi presses him, questioning why he went to drop Phool at the bus stop if he had truly forgotten about Jhanak. She reminds him of Aditi’s heartbreak that day, suggesting that his actions towards Phool were more than just an act of kindness.

Arshi then confronts Aniruddh about Phool’s claim that her father is in Bhavanipur. She questions whether Phool is actually his daughter, implying a deeper connection between him and Jhanak. She recalls how Aniruddh had gone to Simulboni years ago with intentions to marry Jhanak, only to return when she married someone else. Arshi demands to know what truly happened between him and Jhanak during that time. Aniruddh, feeling cornered, asks her not to overreact, but Arshi responds passionately, accusing him of ruining Aditi’s life without even realizing it before storming off.

Back at the hospital, the atmosphere is tense. The doctor approaches Rishi, urgently advising him to contact Jhanak’s family, as they cannot delay her surgery any longer. Surjeet, concerned, asks the doctor for details. The doctor grimly informs them that Jhanak has suffered a major head injury and requires immediate surgery to survive. After the doctor leaves, Tanushri urges Rishi to inform Jhanak’s family about the situation. Rishi, however, insists that Jhanak’s family cannot come at this moment, stating that he feels responsible for the accident and must take charge.

A nurse arrives, requesting Rishi to sign a consent form before they can proceed with the surgery. Abhimanyu interjects, arguing that Jhanak is not family and they should not be signing anything. Tanushri adds that Aditi would be furious if she found out Rishi signed for Jhanak’s treatment. Rishi, determined, insists that Aditi will understand his actions. Surjeet, however, advises Rishi to seek Aditi’s permission first, stressing the importance of family consent.

Reluctantly, Rishi calls Aditi, informing her of Jhanak’s critical condition and how he brought her to the hospital. Aditi, still hurt, taunts him for choosing an expensive hospital for Jhanak’s treatment. She questions whether he truly carried Jhanak himself or if he had help. Rishi explains the necessity of signing the consent form, but Aditi firmly tells him that he cannot sign it and abruptly disconnects the call. Abhimanyu reiterates that no one wants Rishi to take this step. Tanushri then poses a question that hangs in the air: what will Rishi write in the relationship column of the consent form?

Precap

In the precap, Dadabhai confronts Rishi, insisting that he should write “husband” in the relationship column on the consent form. This statement adds a layer of complexity to the already fraught situation, suggesting that Rishi’s responsibilities towards Jhanak may be more profound than he initially anticipated.
