The episode opens with Jhanak, who is murmuring the word “Amma” in her sleep. She is having a dream that feels vivid and emotional. Suddenly, she wakes up, stirred by the soothing voice of Nutan, her mother. Nutan reassures Jhanak that she will soon be free from pain and encourages her to be strong during this difficult time. Jhanak, still disoriented, pleads with Nutan not to leave her side. Nutan gazes at her daughter silently, a mix of sorrow and love in her expression.
As Jhanak notices tears in Nutan’s eyes, she becomes confused and asks why her mother is crying. Nutan explains that she has to leave Jhanak to go to another world, which confuses Jhanak even more. She insists that she won’t allow Nutan to go anywhere, displaying a childlike determination to keep her mother close.
Nutan gently explains that God has called her, and it is her time to go. She urges Jhanak to pursue all her dreams, to never lose hope, and to always stand up for the truth. Nutan reassures Jhanak that she doesn’t need to change who she is. However, Jhanak is distraught, expressing her inability to live without her mother. Nutan encourages Jhanak to learn to be independent, expressing her faith that Jhanak can manage on her own.
Despite Nutan’s reassurances, Jhanak begs her not to talk about leaving. She expresses a deep longing to spend more time with her mother. Nutan, knowing the reality of her situation, tells Jhanak that she must go. She leans down and kisses Jhanak gently on the forehead, a final gesture of love and farewell.
In a desperate attempt to hold on, Jhanak clings to Nutan’s hand, refusing to let her go. Nutan, with a heavy heart, tells Jhanak to take care of herself and then walks away. This poignant moment is revealed to be a dream, as Jhanak suddenly awakens with a scream, calling out for her mother. A nurse nearby informs her that it was just a dream, explaining that no one had come to see her.
Feeling a sense of urgency, Jhanak insists that she needs to leave, but before she can act on it, a doctor administers an injection, and she drifts back into unconsciousness.
In a parallel scene, Parashar is seen grieving for Nutan, asking her to say something as he cries. Mangal, trying to console him, reminds Parashar that they cannot change the past and that Nutan will forever remain in their memories. They proceed to take Nutan’s lifeless body to the cremation ground, and as they do, Parashar reminisces about the precious moments he shared with Nutan. He then performs her last rites, a heavy burden on his heart.
Meanwhile, Dadabhai inquires whether Rishi has located Jhanak’s father. Rishi cryptically responds that Dadabhai will learn the truth in due time. Tanushri, curious and impatient, presses Rishi to reveal Jhanak’s father’s identity, but Rishi remains tight-lipped. He mentions that if Nutan recovers, Jhanak may go to Simulboni after her recovery; however, if Nutan passes away, Jhanak will have to stay there, and he will take responsibility for her education.
Tanushri questions who will accompany Jhanak to Simulboni for her exams. Rishi assures her that he will handle it, expressing his belief that Jhanak has the potential to achieve something great in life.
Indumati, puzzled by Rishi’s sudden change in attitude, asks for clarification. Rishi explains that he was never against Jhanak’s education and had initially wanted to avoid getting involved in her affairs. However, he acknowledges that the situation has changed drastically. Tanushri probes whether Aditi is aware of these developments, to which Rishi confirms that he intends to discuss it with her.
Tanushri expresses her frustration, claiming Rishi is complicating matters unnecessarily. Rishi stands firm, stating that he does not accept the marriage and neither does Jhanak. He argues that since Jhanak saved Dadabhai’s life and his job, he feels compelled to support her in any way he can. Tanushri retorts that Jhanak can live as a maid in their household, a suggestion that Indumati supports.
Dadabhai intervenes, asserting that Jhanak will be treated as a family member, not a maid. Rishi agrees, emphasizing that they should not label Jhanak in such a way. Just then, Rishi receives a call from Parashar and learns about Nutan’s death, which leaves him shocked and saddened.
The episode concludes with a poignant scene where Jhanak expresses to Dadabhai her deep sense of loss for Nutan, stating that she wishes to go to Simulboni. Rishi tells her she can go after two days, but Aditi interjects, asking Rishi if he has yet informed Jhanak about Nutan’s passing. In a moment of tension, Jhanak demands the truth from Rishi, setting the stage for the emotional revelations to come.
