Jhanak 30th January 2026 :  Turbulent Battle of Relationships

The episode opens with a tense atmosphere as Tanushri declares that she will stop cooking if Jhanak enters the kitchen. Jhanak, determined to assert herself, responds that she prepares tea for Dadabhai every day, and that’s why she made it today. However, she quickly adds that if Tanushri has an issue with her presence, she won’t enter the kitchen. Indumati, sensing the brewing conflict, intervenes and tells Jhanak to cease this act, emphasizing that she cannot establish a place for herself in the house after causing Aditi’s marriage to fall apart. Indumati firmly states that they will not fall for Jhanak’s manipulations.

Jhanak, feeling cornered by the accusations, insists that she is not trying to trap anyone. Tanushri, however, is unyielding and warns Jhanak never to enter the kitchen again. Confused and hurt, Jhanak questions why she is being treated this way and what wrong she has done. She mentions that she is ready to leave the house if that’s what it takes. Indumati retorts that Jhanak often claims she will leave but never follows through, pointing out that Rishi always supports her when she threatens to go. Jhanak defends herself, stating that her marriage to Rishi is real, but Tanushri accuses her of concocting a plan to disrupt their lives.

Indumati escalates the argument by reminding everyone that Nutan, Jhanak’s mother, was involved with a married man, drawing a parallel to Jhanak’s current situation. This infuriates Jhanak, who warns Indumati to stop insulting her mother. Tanushri interjects, insisting that Jhanak has no right to speak in such a tone while living under their roof. In a bold move, Jhanak demands an apology from Indumati, questioning why they continue to insult Nutan. Tanushri dismisses Jhanak’s plea, taunting her to take legal action if she feels wronged. Indumati, fed up with the confrontation, orders Jhanak to pack her bags and leave.

Just then, Rishi enters the scene. Jhanak expresses her frustration, stating that she has no problem leaving the house, but she feels mistreated due to Rishi’s earlier announcement. She questions why Nutan is being blamed when Aniruddh also had an affair while married. Jhanak defends Nutan’s love, claiming it was genuine and that she was the one betrayed. Rishi, feeling protective, asks his family not to insult Nutan any further. Tanushri, however, is resolute, insisting that they can do as they please and that Jhanak is still not allowed in the kitchen.

Rishi turns to Jhanak, questioning why she would enter the kitchen when her final year exams are approaching. Jhanak, feeling overwhelmed, states that she wants to leave the house. She asks Rishi if he enjoys seeing her humiliated in this manner. Tanushri seizes the moment, demanding that Rishi choose between her and Jhanak, threatening that their relationship will end if he decides to marry Jhanak. Rishi, caught in the middle, clarifies that he is not planning to marry Jhanak immediately but reveals that he is choosing her over Tanushri. This declaration leaves Tanushri heartbroken, unable to comprehend the shift in Rishi’s affections.

Jhanak, surprised by Rishi’s words, worries that everyone will assume she has instigated him. Indumati points out that Rishi never treated them this way when he was with Aditi. Rishi insists that his relationship with Aditi is over, prompting Tanushri to leave the room in tears.

Meanwhile, Aditi arrives at a party with her parents, greeted warmly by Mr. Mitra, who expresses his happiness at her presence. He inquires if Rishi is on a mission today, causing Aditi to feel awkward. Mr. Mitra quickly remembers that Aditi now resides in the Bose house.

As the party continues, Mr. Mitra’s son, Koushik, takes the stage to play the guitar and sing a song, glancing at Aditi as he performs. Mr. Mitra introduces Koushik to Aditi, mentioning that they played together as children. Koushik approaches Aditi, reminiscing about their childhood, but Aditi admits she doesn’t remember much. Koushik compliments her, and when Aditi questions why he returned from abroad, he explains that he prefers not to settle down.

Aditi learns that Koushik’s marriage announcement is expected at the party, and Koushik reveals he hasn’t found the right girl yet. Eager to help, Aditi offers her assistance in finding that special someone. Koushik asks what she does, and she replies that she is a lecturer. As Aditi moves away to join her mother, Rupa, she overhears Rupa expressing concern that Koushik isn’t interested in the family business, highlighting the pressure he faces as their only son.

Koushik, noticing Aditi again, calls her over, and Rupa expresses her happiness that Koushik seems to connect with Aditi. Arshi suggests that it would be great if Koushik and Aditi became friends. Aditi returns to Koushik, and their conversation continues to flow.

Meanwhile, Mr. Batra advises Aniruddh to finalize Aditi’s divorce before considering a marriage between Aditi and Koushik. Aniruddh feels hopeful upon hearing this, mentioning that Rishi is pushing for the divorce and that he is trying to convince Aditi of the same.

Koushik, curious, asks Aditi why she didn’t come with her husband. Aditi candidly shares that her husband is involved in an extramarital affair. When Koushik urges her to accept this reality, Aditi defends herself, questioning what flaws she has and asserting her self-respect. Koushik acknowledges her point and asks her to be his friend, to which Aditi replies that friendship is something that just happens. Koushik playfully asserts that he is quite demanding and might show up at her house unexpectedly for outings like trekking or long drives. Aditi reflects on how she wished for similar spontaneity from Rishi. Koushik then invites her to join him on Sunday for an exploration, and Aditi agrees, intrigued by the prospect.

In the precap, Rishi takes Jhanak’s hand, urging her to support him, expressing his belief that they can find happiness together. Neelu, observing this interaction, records the moment, contemplating how she might use it to drive a wedge between the two lovers.
