Jhanak 4th April 2026: Jhanak to Mediate Between Putul & Arya!

The episode begins with a lively scene as Jhanak playfully snatches money from Dadabhai, eliciting laughter and cheer from everyone present. The atmosphere is filled with excitement as Dritimaan steps in to help Dadabhai put on a traditional Punjabi outfit, while Indumati also dresses up in her own vibrant Punjabi attire. Just then, Rishi enters the house, his expression turning to confusion as he takes in the festive decorations adorning the living space.

Curious about the commotion, he asks what is happening. Dadabhai, a bit flustered, informs Rishi that Jhanak is acting like a goon for snatching five thousand rupees from him. Jhanak, quick to defend herself, retorts that Rishi should contribute money as well.

Rishi, shaking his head, claims he doesn’t have any cash on him. Undeterred, Jhanak insists that Rishi should at least wear a Punjabi outfit, but he stubbornly refuses. In a show of authority, Jhanak orders him to change outfits, dragging him off to the room.

The next day, Jhanak informs Tanushri that she will be late because of some special classes. Abhimanyu suggests she should study at home instead, but Jhanak insists that it’s not possible. Meanwhile, Putul announces that she is heading to her music class, and Tanushri prepares Tiffin boxes for everyone.

As they chat, a courier guy arrives, inquiring about Rupanjana. Putul identifies herself as Rupanjana, and Jhanak eagerly takes the letter, announcing that it’s from Arya. Putul immediately urges Jhanak to return the letter, expressing her reluctance to give Arya another chance. Tanushri, sensing the tension, encourages Putul to at least read the letter before making any decisions.

Putul refuses, adamant about not allowing Arya back into their lives. Jhanak, curious about its contents, signs for the letter and sends the courier away, determined to see what it contains. Putul, feeling ignored, begins to cry, frustrated that no one is listening to her.

Rishi walks in and notices Putul’s tears, asking what’s wrong. Jhanak explains the situation regarding Arya’s letter. Rishi, angered, demands to know who accepted the letter. Putul reveals that Jhanak accepted it against her wishes. Tanushri interjects, suggesting that if they want to support Putul, they should read the letter together. Rishi dismisses the idea, tearing the letter in frustration, but Jhanak insists on reading it anyway. Despite Putul’s protests, Abhimanyu encourages Jhanak to go ahead.

As Jhanak reads the letter, she discovers that Arya wants to meet Putul for thirty minutes and has provided his new phone number. Rishi’s anger boils over as he threatens to confront Arya. Indumati speculates that Arya might be trying to convince Putul to divorce him. Abhimanyu, trying to diffuse the situation, suggests they forget about the letter. Putul, still upset, hugs Indumati tightly, feeling overwhelmed.

In another part of town, Koushik and Aditi are having a tense conversation at the restaurant. Koushik tells Aditi that they shouldn’t discuss personal matters, but Aditi presses him, asking if their friendship has ended. Koushik admits that he can’t just remain friends with her. Aditi confesses that her feelings for Rishi haven’t faded yet. Koushik, sarcastically thanking her for her honesty, leaves, frustrated by the situation.

Meanwhile, Rishi approaches Aditi, and they engage in a conversation about Arshi. Rishi expresses that he misses the good times they shared. Aditi, sensing the awkwardness, decides it’s time to leave. Rishi then asks her when she plans to marry Koushik. Seeing them together ignites Koushik’s anger, and he approaches them, claiming he returned to search for his keys. He quickly retrieves them from the table and departs, leaving tension hanging in the air.

Later, Aniruddh seeks out Arshi, wanting to talk. Arshi, dismissive, tells him that it’s his house and he can do as he pleases. Aniruddh brings up the fact that he heard she sold her jewelry. Arshi explains that she sold the jewels Srishti had given her. Aniruddh questions why she didn’t ask him for money if she needed it.

Arshi responds that he has already given her plenty and insists that she is no longer his wife. Aniruddh firmly states that she will always be his wife. Arshi counters, reminding him that if he truly believed that, he wouldn’t have signed the divorce papers. Aniruddh then asks why she can’t accept Jhanak, to which Arshi replies that she will never accept Jhanak, which is why she chose to divorce him.

Later, Rishi finds himself reflecting on Aditi’s words. Jhanak approaches him, and he shares his concerns about Aditi and Koushik. Jhanak asks why he is dwelling on it so much. Rishi explains that he saw pain in Koushik’s eyes and feels guilty about the mutual divorce. Jhanak questions what he is thinking now, and when she notices he seems troubled, she asks if he wants to talk to Aditi. Rishi replies that he wouldn’t want to go to Aditi when he loves Jhanak. In a moment of vulnerability, Jhanak hugs him, providing comfort.

As the day progresses, Dadabhai suggests they should talk to Arya about the situation. Rishi dismisses the idea, insisting that Putul should simply divorce Arya and move on with her life. Indumati interjects, expressing her desire to avoid another divorce in the family. Rishi stands firm, declaring that Putul deserves to be happy and should not be held back.

In the precap, Aditi and Koushik spot Jhanak speaking to a guy in the restaurant. Aditi’s concern grows as she assumes Jhanak might be in trouble. She quickly calls Rishi, informing him that Jhanak is talking to a stranger, setting the stage for yet another twist in their intertwined lives.
