The episode opens with Aditi expressing her belief that Aniruddh did nothing wrong. She defends his actions, stating that he simply did not want Jhanak to study in Kolkata for the sake of his daughter. This statement prompts Dadabhai to question Aditi about how she can support her parents in this matter. Indumati chimes in, asserting that Aditi’s parents acted appropriately, especially considering the suffering Aditi endured because of Jhanak.
During this tense discussion, Aditi turns to Rishi and inquires about his injury. Rishi explains that he sustained his injuries while rescuing Jhanak from molesters, highlighting his protective nature. Aditi then asks why he took Jhanak to the education minister’s office, to which Rishi responds that he will continue to help Jhanak whenever she needs it. He urges Aditi not to complicate matters further.
Neelu interjects, reminding Rishi that he was once married to Jhanak, implying that Aditi’s casual attitude towards the situation is inappropriate. Rishi, feeling cornered, asks what they expect him to do. Neelu expresses her frustration, claiming that Rishi never listens to their concerns. Aditi adds that Rishi has already done a lot to help Jhanak, which Rishi acknowledges but insists he cannot be selfish. Aditi then accuses him of caring more about everyone else than about her feelings.
Dadabhai expresses relief that Rishi is not like Aditi’s parents, suggesting that he has a more compassionate view of the situation. Putul comments that Aditi often gets hurt due to her tendency to overthink things. She reveals that Jhanak even donated blood to save Aditi, which shocks Aditi. Putul explains that Jhanak is trying to move on but is facing difficulties because of Aditi’s parents, which she feels is unfair. Aditi, upset, asks Putul not to discuss her parents, prompting Indumati to intervene and tell them to stop the argument. Dadabhai counters by questioning Indumati’s support for what he perceives as wrongdoing.
Rishi reassures Aditi that everything between him and Jhanak is over. He emphasizes that Aditi is now his wife, and he sees no reason why he shouldn’t help Jhanak. Aditi, feeling threatened, asks if she should leave the house, to which Rishi responds with confusion, stating he never suggested such a thing. He insists he doesn’t understand what wrong he has done by offering help to Jhanak. Aditi expresses her frustration, stating that she cannot tolerate the situation any longer. Rishi retorts that he cannot tolerate her parents’ misdeeds and warns that he will take action if they overstep their boundaries.
The following day, a senior student addresses the freshers, encouraging them to participate in the upcoming freshers’ party. He invites them to showcase their talents and then leaves. A student approaches Jhanak, asking if she plans to participate in the debate. Mishti and others laugh at this, and Jhanak replies that she hasn’t thought about it yet, but she might consider participating in either dance or debate. The student playfully challenges her to dance right then, to which Jhanak responds that they are in a classroom, not on stage, and therefore, she won’t dance.
Another student jokingly suggests that Jhanak should at least say some bad words. Jhanak firmly tells them that they are in college to study, not to engage in such behavior. The student argues that they can have fun while studying, but Mishti insists that Jhanak should either dance or say something outrageous. Jhanak, standing her ground, asserts that she will save her dancing for the program and emphasizes the importance of respecting their studies.
Meanwhile, Rishi spots Saanjh and greets her with enthusiasm, asking how she is and when she arrived in Kolkata. Saanjh explains that she is there for work. Rishi invites her to his house, and although Saanjh initially declines, he manages to persuade her. Saanjh inquires about Putul and the others, to which Rishi responds that everyone is doing well. When Saanjh asks about Aditi, Rishi shares that Aditi has integrated well with his family. Saanjh probes further, asking if Rishi is happy with Aditi. He admits that while he has some problems, he will explain them later. Saanjh mentions that she is in town to perform at the medical college for the freshers’ party, and Rishi tells her that Mishti is studying there.
Back in the classroom, Mishti encourages Jhanak to relax and do a catwalk, but Jhanak retorts that she is not a clown to act in such a manner. A student mocks her outfit, claiming she looks like a joker and is out of place. Jhanak acknowledges that she is indeed different from the others and explains that her journey has been uniquely challenging.
Just then, the teacher enters the classroom and asks if everything is alright. Jhanak expresses her frustration, stating that she cannot tolerate being insulted. When the teacher asks who insulted her, Jhanak refuses to name anyone, choosing instead to keep her feelings to herself.
In the precap, Mishti asks Jhanak how she plans to learn to dance, to which Jhanak responds with skepticism, questioning why Mishti is concerned about her.
