The episode begins with Dadabhai expressing concern for Jhanak, asking if she has eaten anything. Indumati, visibly worried, informs him that Jhanak has been crying incessantly and refuses to eat. Tanushri chimes in, noting that Kaju and Badam are going to visit Jhanak to console her, but she worries this will negatively impact their studies. Indumati suggests that since Jhanak’s mother has passed away, it might be best to send her back to her village after the Ganga snan (holy bath). Dadabhai acknowledges Jhanak’s grief, stating that she is in shock, while Tanushri remarks that Dadabhai seems overly emotional about Jhanak’s situation.
Just then, Putul enters the room, revealing that Jhanak has expressed a desire to return to her village and is also running a slight fever. Tanushri insists that Jhanak should stay with them for a few more days to recover. Indumati proposes arranging a private car to take Jhanak to her village and suggests that they should also finalize the marriage between Aditi and Rishi. Tanushri agrees, stating that Rishi and Aditi will not find peace if Jhanak is still around, as her emotional state may disrupt the family dynamics.
Dadabhai interjects, pointing out that while Jhanak is clearly in pain, the family seems more focused on Rishi and Aditi’s relationship than on Jhanak’s well-being. He reminds them that Rishi has taken responsibility for Jhanak, and therefore, he should be the one to decide when she will go to her village. Tanushri dismisses Dadabhai’s concerns, claiming they need not worry about Jhanak since she is merely crying and not contributing to household chores.
Aniruddh arrives, greeted warmly by Rishi’s family. Tanushri informs Aniruddh that Aditi has agreed to the marriage, and they hope to arrange it as soon as possible. Aniruddh agrees, supportive of the swift preparations. Indumati then questions Aniruddh about the large quantity of sweets and fruits he has brought, to which he replies that they are for Jhanak. Tanushri instructs Putul to fetch Jhanak, but Aniruddh suggests they allow Jhanak to rest instead. Putul goes inside to bring Jhanak, while Aniruddh inquires whether Jhanak will still be going to the village. Tanushri reassures him that they plan to send Jhanak in a few days.
When Putul finally brings Jhanak into the room, Aniruddh reflects on a letter he received from Nutan regarding Jhanak, filled with uncertainty about Jhanak’s true parentage. He approaches Jhanak, expressing his condolences for her mother’s death. He asks her about her mother’s name, and Jhanak responds that her mother was named Nutan. Aniruddh then questions her about her father’s name, to which Jhanak replies that she doesn’t know it. She reveals her feelings of abandonment, stating she has forgotten the name of the man who left her and her mother behind. She wonders why Aniruddh is asking her these questions.
Aniruddh explains that he wants to help her find her father. However, Jhanak vehemently blames her father for Nutan’s suffering and death. She recounts how her mother was sad for many years due to her father’s actions, indicating that Nutan endured a lot because of him. Jhanak firmly declares that she intends to confront her father one day, demanding to know why he caused so much pain to Nutan.
Later, Anjana approaches Aniruddh, inquiring about Phool’s condition. Bablu interjects, questioning how Phool could be in a good state given the circumstances. Anjana then asks Aniruddh if Phool has mentioned anything about her father, expressing disbelief that Phool’s father could abandon both her and her mother.
