Jhanak 6th April 2026: Rishi to Get Suspicious of Jhanak?

The episode opens with Dadabhai expressing concern over Jhanak’s late return. He remarks that her absence is worrisome, prompting Abhimanyu to question what they will say to Rishi if he arrives home first. Dadabhai reflects on his earlier advice to Jhanak, suggesting she shouldn’t have gone out at all.

Tanushri interjects, reminding him that he had given Jhanak permission to go. Dadabhai responds, indicating that they had pressured her into it. Indumati warns that Rishi will be upset if he finds out about Jhanak’s delay. Tanushri admits she is feeling uneasy and asks Sanjhbati to help with dinner alongside Putul. Dadabhai, however, insists that Tanushri shouldn’t try to escape her responsibilities.

Sanjhbati points out that Jhanak is unfamiliar with Kolkata and that it is already 10 PM, which adds to everyone’s anxiety about her whereabouts. Just then, Jhanak walks through the door. Tanushri immediately questions her for not answering her phone calls, to which Jhanak replies that her phone was on silent.

Abhimanyu then asks her if she realizes how late it is. Sanjhbati chimes in, stating that Jhanak should have returned much earlier. Jhanak defends herself, saying that Rishi has not returned yet either, so her being out is not a big deal. She insists that she only went out for one day and feels they are overreacting.

Dadabhai suggests she go rest, but Jhanak mentions that she is hungry. Abhimanyu reminds her that she attended a party, to which Jhanak responds that she did not enjoy the food there, so she did not eat. Tanushri advises her to change before Rishi comes home.

Meanwhile, Aditi calls Rishi to inform him that she saw Jhanak at a restaurant with a stranger. Rishi is curious as to why Aditi didn’t speak to Jhanak, but Aditi explains that Jhanak left before she could reach her. Rishi dismisses the thought, assuming Aditi must have mistaken someone else for Jhanak.

A short while later, Rishi arrives home and directly asks Jhanak if she went to the restaurant. He turns to Dadabhai for confirmation, who nods in acknowledgment. Sanjhbati adds that Jhanak was at a friend’s birthday party. Rishi confronts Jhanak, questioning why she didn’t inform him about the birthday party.

Jhanak explains that she thought Rishi wouldn’t allow her to go. Rishi contemplates checking the restaurant the following day. Dadabhai urges Rishi to let it go since Jhanak has returned safely. Rishi, however, insists that Jhanak should not hide anything from him. Jhanak admits she made a mistake, revealing that her intention was to seek Arya’s happiness, which is why she went alone to meet him.

The next day, Rishi visits the restaurant to inquire about the birthday party from the previous night. The manager informs him that only couples, friends, and families attended, and that no birthday party took place. This revelation leads Rishi to believe that Aditi’s observation was correct, leaving him puzzled as to why Jhanak would lie about it. The manager then provides Rishi with a list of names of those who paid with a card.

On the street, a boy spots Mishti, who is approached by a man pretending to have a heart attack, signaling to the boy. Mishti notices the man and quickly assesses the situation, asking if anyone knows him. The boy suggests calling an ambulance, but Mishti, recognizing the man’s weak pulse, tells him to be quiet. She administers CPR, and the man eventually coughs and regains consciousness.

A few bystanders assist in taking him to the hospital, and the boy praises Mishti for her quick thinking. She modestly replies that she was only doing her duty. The boy then asks if he can contact her in case of emergencies, and Mishti introduces herself, asking for his name. He tells her to call him Bob and suggests that she can learn more about him when he comes in for a checkup. He invites her to a café, noting that she must be tired, and Mishti agrees to join him.

In Simulboni, Parashar greets Bua, who scolds him for not informing her about Jhanak’s marriage and for Jhanak not reaching out to her either. Parashar explains that Bua was away from the village, leaving them with no choice.

Bua expresses her frustration, claiming that Nutan entered Parashar’s life and ruined it. Parashar defends his feelings, stating that Bua does not understand love. Bua retorts that Nutan was merely using him and that he was blinded by his affection for her. Parashar insists that he cannot explain his relationship with Nutan to anyone.

Bua raises a concern about what will happen if Jhanak forgets about Parashar, suggesting that he will end up alone. She believes this is the consequence of loving Nutan. Parashar reassures her that he loved Nutan deeply and that Jhanak is his daughter, promising that she will not forget him. He declares that he will not marry anyone else, emphasizing that Jhanak’s happiness is his responsibility as her father. Bua storms off in anger, and Parashar gazes at a photo of Nutan, vowing to protect her memory.

In the precap, Rishi confronts Jhanak, inquiring about her whereabouts. Tanushri presses Jhanak, suspecting that she is hiding something. Rishi is left with the impression that Jhanak is indeed concealing information from him. Later, Jhanak requests Arya to meet her and Putul at the singing school, just as Rishi arrives at the same location.
