Jhanak 6th February 2026 : Jhanak’s Distrust of Rishi!

The episode begins with a tense atmosphere as Indumati questions Manmeet about the promises Rishi made to Aditi during their marriage. Dadabhai interjects, stating that if promises suffocate one’s life, then it is acceptable to break them. He reminds everyone that Rishi and Jhanak also made promises to each other during their marriage. Abhimanyu, however, counters Dadabhai’s perspective, asserting that they are practical people, unlike him. He emphasizes that Rishi and Jhanak’s marriage was forced, and he reminds Dadabhai that Rishi has been making promises to Aditi for many years.

Dadabhai, dismissing the discussion, asks Rishi about the man Aditi has chosen for herself now. Rishi responds that he knows nothing about this new guy. He reveals that he witnessed Aditi moving on with her life outside the family court, indicating that their relationship is nearly over. Rishi admits that he feels sad about the end of his relationship with Aditi, which is why he is not celebrating. Jhanak, overhearing this, feels a pang of disappointment, sensing that Rishi is not moving toward her as she had hoped.

Tanushri chimes in, suggesting that if Rishi is truly sad, he should try to win Aditi back, as she believes Aditi is merely a shadow of Rishi’s past. Ridhi, however, points out that Aditi has indeed moved on, which Neelu finds amusing, noting that Rishi is now in second place in Aditi’s life—or perhaps has no place at all. Abhimanyu tells Rishi that he does not understand his own path, while Tanushri accuses Jhanak of manipulating Rishi into this situation. Jhanak, taken aback, asks what Tanushri is implying.

Tanushri accuses Jhanak of separating Rishi from Aditi and from his own mother, adding to the tension. Jhanak acknowledges that she knows Rishi is sad, but she is confused about why he wants to stay with her. She implores him not to divorce Aditi, arguing that he is heartbroken after breaking Aditi’s heart. Rishi questions whether Jhanak is saying this simply because Aditi is her sister. Jhanak deflects, asking why he would bring that up. Rishi explains that Aditi has moved on, and he cares for Jhanak because she seems stuck in a complicated situation with him.

Neelu interjects, claiming that the truth is finally coming out. Jhanak asks Rishi what he means by that, to which Rishi responds that the truth is Jhanak also wants to stay with him. Jhanak, feeling cornered, insists that Rishi is twisting her words in front of everyone. She reiterates her opposition to Rishi’s decision to divorce Aditi, stating that he has given her a piece of his broken heart.

Rishi tries to clarify that it’s not like that and suggests they discuss it later, but Jhanak insists that now is the right time to talk. She expresses her desire for Rishi to remain with Aditi, while Rishi points out that Jhanak’s insistence stems from her own self-respect. Neelu comments that Jhanak cannot elevate herself by pretending to be noble.

In a heartfelt moment, Rishi tells Jhanak that he loves her and wants to be with her, asserting that Aditi has left his life. Tanushri, shocked, admonishes him for his shamelessness. Rishi maintains that he is speaking the truth and acknowledges that everyone needs time to accept this new reality. He asks his parents to accept Jhanak as his partner. Dritimaan supports Rishi, stating that both Rishi and his parents are right in their perspectives. Sanjhbati adds that they should not judge Rishi based on his decision.

Tanushri retorts that Jhanak can stay in the house and claim rights to Rishi’s broken heart, but she will never receive the love of a mother-in-law from her. She declares that she will wait for Rishi to realize his mistakes. Jhanak, feeling the weight of Tanushri’s words, acknowledges that she knows Tanushri will harbor hatred for her forever. She insists that she does not wish to snatch Rishi from anyone, expressing her resignation to her fate, which she likens to Nutan’s fate. Rishi, however, asserts that it is not possible for him to go back to Aditi now because he loves Jhanak. Dadabhai encourages Jhanak to trust Rishi, but she struggles to do so, while Rishi believes that his heart belongs to Jhanak, not Aditi.

Tanushri, adamant, declares that she and Abhimanyu will never accept the relationship between Rishi and Jhanak. She accuses Jhanak of ruining Aditi’s life and states that she will not forget this betrayal. Rishi defends himself, insisting that it is not as simple as Tanushri claims. Tanushri declares that she will not interfere in Rishi’s life but will never accept his choice. With that, she storms off, followed closely by Abhimanyu. Dadabhai reassures Jhanak that she should not blame herself for anything and affirms that Rishi loves her, promising that he will make her happy.

Later, Jhanak finds herself reflecting on the harsh words exchanged and begins to cry, realizing that she may have been wrong about Rishi. She feels regret for confessing her love to him, believing it has made him weak. Just then, Rishi enters the room, and Jhanak tells him that she does not want to revisit their previous conversation. Rishi pleads with her not to misunderstand him. Jhanak insists that the truth is Rishi’s heart is still with Aditi. Rishi reassures her that his whole heart is with her, but Jhanak reveals that she felt hurt seeing Aditi with another man. She expresses disbelief that Rishi expected Aditi to beg him to take her back.

Rishi, frustrated, questions whether Jhanak thinks he is that kind of person. He explains that the divorce was mutual and suggests that they should marry. Jhanak, taken aback, asks how they can marry when he is still legally Aditi’s husband. Rishi presses her, asking if she doesn’t want to marry him. Jhanak admits that she needs time to think and asks him to stay away from her for now. Rishi, desperate for her trust, insists that he loves her only and leaves the room, leaving Jhanak in turmoil.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, Ankush is released from jail on bail. He learns that Indranath is planning to meet Jhanak at a restaurant. Filled with anger and vengeance, he instructs his men to keep a close watch on Jhanak. He reflects on the past, recalling how Indranath killed his parents after they uncovered his true nature. Determined to seek revenge for the wrongs done to him and his family, Ankush vows not to spare Jhanak, setting the stage for further conflict in the unfolding drama.

In the precap, Rishi stands before the judge, stating that Aniruddh informed him that Aditi has chosen a new partner and wishes to marry him, which is why she wants a mutual divorce. He signs the divorce papers, and Aditi glares at him, her expression a mix of anger and betrayal, leaving viewers eager to see how this intricate web of relationships will unravel.
