Jhanak, however, stands her ground, insisting that she cannot share anything at the moment but promises to reveal the truth when the time is right.
Abhimanyu interjects, asserting that now is indeed the right time for her to speak up. Tanushri adds her voice to the chorus, suggesting that Jhanak should learn to accept her mistakes, pointing out that she had argued with Rishi despite being the one who lied.
Sanjhbati, another family member, urges Jhanak to clear the misunderstandings with Rishi, highlighting the importance of communication in relationships. Jhanak, feeling overwhelmed by the pressure, questions why everyone is lecturing her and treating her like a child who doesn’t know anything. She asserts her independence, declaring that she is an adult and capable of making her own decisions.
Sanjhbati then mentions that she saw Jhanak’s mattress on the floor, which raises further concerns among the family members. Abhimanyu asks Jhanak directly what she truly wants, while Dadabhai suggests that Jhanak is simply looking for freedom to roam the city and dine out. Tanushri presses Jhanak, questioning her stubbornness and whether she truly trusts them. Putul asks if anyone from Simulboni has come to Kolkata, hinting at the potential danger or complications involved. Abhimanyu emphasizes that as a family member, Jhanak’s safety is paramount, yet Jhanak remains tight-lipped, insisting that she cannot divulge any information. In a shift of focus, Jhanak tells Putul that she is accompanying her to music school, which surprises Putul given the current situation. Jhanak insists on going out now, but Putul calls it a foolish decision. Jhanak counters that it takes courage to step out and questions whether Putul possesses that courage.
Sanjhbati observes that this new attitude from Jhanak seems unfamiliar. Just then, Jhanak notices a call from Arya and disconnects it, but when he calls again, Tanushri encourages her to answer. Jhanak, however, insists that it is a personal matter and retreats inside.
When Jhanak finally picks up Arya’s call, she invites him to Putul’s music school that day. Arya expresses his gratitude, and Jhanak instructs him to act as if he doesn’t know her and to treat her like a stranger. Arya agrees to this arrangement and ends the call.
Later, as they walk through the market, Putul expresses her concern that Jhanak should have informed Rishi about her plans. Jhanak, distracted, wonders where Arya is. Putul reassures her that she trusts her but insists that Rishi, as Jhanak’s husband, deserves to be informed. She notices that Jhanak seems unresponsive to her advice.
At that moment, Arya arrives and greets Putul, wanting to have a word with her. However, Putul scolds him for approaching Jhanak and refuses to engage in conversation. She accuses Arya of being shameless, claiming she knows he wants a divorce to marry his girlfriend. Arya, taken aback, responds that if Putul wants a divorce, it will happen. Putul retorts that he is the one who desires it, implying that his girlfriend must have left him, prompting his visit. Arya vehemently denies this accusation.
Putul threatens to file a complaint against Arya, to which he responds indifferently, suggesting she go ahead if that’s what she wants. Frustrated, Putul dismisses his theatrics. Arya, attempting to reach out, holds her shoulder and expresses that he is troubled and wants her to be happy, promising they won’t meet again. He then walks away, leaving Putul in tears.
Meanwhile, in another scene, Mishti arrives at Bob’s clinic, where he informs her that he will be her assistant for a few days since the usual compounder has gone to his village. Bob explains that he needs to record everything they do because the foundation will provide funding to keep the clinic running. Mishti begins her work, examining patients as Bob records their interactions.
Back in Simulboni, Bua is seen discussing her concerns with Veer about Parashar. She expresses her desire for him to get married and reveals that she has already chosen a girl for him. Veer, however, points out that convincing Parashar will not be easy. Bua insists that they should prioritize Parashar’s well-being and work to persuade him.
Parashar enters the conversation, curious about what they are discussing. Bua tells him about her plans for his marriage, but Parashar reacts with disbelief, questioning whether she is joking. He explains that with Nutan gone and Jhanak having left after their marriage, he feels unsupported and is not ready to move on.
Later, Bob asks Mishti if she will return the next day, noting that the people from the Basti will be waiting for her. Mishti playfully inquires whether only the Basti people will be waiting for her. Bob assures her that he will call her later, and Mishti smiles as she leaves the clinic.
Just then, a man arrives to inform Bob that Raja Bhai has called with an order but that they currently lack a mechanic. He asks if Mishti can take on the task. Bob clarifies that Mishti will handle the next order but not this one.
