Jhanak 9th October 2025: Aditi Gets a Reality Check!

The episode opens with Aditi expressing a deep desire to confront her parents about her childhood. She turns to Rishi, seeking his support as she prepares to ask the difficult questions that have been weighing on her mind. Rishi responds by affirming her right to question her parents, emphasizing that it’s important for her to seek the truth. However, he also cautions her that the specifics of her childhood may not matter as much as she thinks. Aditi, undeterred, insists on her need for clarity, particularly after Jhanak’s assertion that Nutan, Aditi’s mother, was the one who raised her. This claim has ignited a fire within Aditi, compelling her to uncover the reality of her upbringing.

Rishi, attempting to be the voice of reason, suggests that if Aditi’s parents chose to keep certain truths from her, there must have been a reason behind their decision. Aditi, however, counters this argument by pointing out the possibility that Jhanak might have lied about her past. She acknowledges Rishi’s bias, knowing that he has a soft spot for Jhanak and struggles to hear anything negative about her. Rishi urges Aditi to seek the truth from Bablu and Anjana, her parents, if she feels that they have not been honest with her.

Aditi agrees that Bablu and Anjana would tell her the truth, but Rishi reiterates that even if Jhanak’s claims turn out to be correct, it wouldn’t change the fundamental dynamics of their family. Aditi passionately argues that everything would change because her parents have not accepted her fully. Rishi tries to empathize with Jhanak’s situation, reminding Aditi that her father also faced rejection and that it could have affected Jhanak’s mental state.

Aditi, however, is adamant about her feelings regarding Aniruddh, her father. She believes Jhanak is mistaken about Aniruddh and insists that if that’s the case, she cannot simply accept it. She pleads with Rishi to understand her emotional turmoil. Rishi, trying to keep the peace, advises her not to overreact regarding Jhanak’s situation. Aditi points out the irony in Rishi’s stance, recalling how he used to harbor strong feelings of hatred toward Jhanak. Now, he seems to defend her, even going so far as to bring a gift for her. She implores him to see things from her perspective.

Rishi explains that he has freed himself from the constraints of a forced relationship with Jhanak, and therefore, he sees no reason to harbor anger toward her. He reminds Aditi that Jhanak was also compelled into marriage against her will. When Aditi presses him about why he cares so much for Jhanak now, Rishi responds that it’s simply an act of humanity, nothing more. He encourages Aditi to extend her compassion to Jhanak as well. Aditi, however, believes Rishi is being naive, insisting that he fails to grasp Jhanak’s true motives. Rishi maintains that he doesn’t believe Jhanak has intentionally harmed anyone, and he offers to accompany Aditi to Aniruddh’s house for her confrontation. Aditi, determined to face her parents alone, declines his offer and leaves.

Meanwhile, in another part of the story, Choton comments on how Aniruddh has changed since becoming wealthy. He invites Bablu to visit his home anytime, assuring him that he and Anjana will never be disrespected there. Aniruddh, however, quickly corrects Choton, explaining that Bablu and Anjana have not been mistreated in his home. He reflects on the rift that has developed between himself and Aditi due to Anjana revealing the truth about their past. Aniruddh feels that Aditi should have learned the truth directly from him and Arshi, his wife. He acknowledges that Arshi is right to be protective as a mother and asks Bablu to be cautious going forward. He apologizes to Bablu on behalf of Arshi and urges him not to leave.

Choton, respecting Bablu’s feelings, assures him that he will honor his decisions. Aniruddh then expresses his fear of how Aditi will react to the unfolding situation, which Choton dismisses as a matter of karma before leaving.

Later, Aditi confronts her parents, demanding that they reveal the truth without any further deception. She directly asks whether she lived in Simulboni for five years during her childhood. Arshi, caught off guard, questions why Aditi is asking such things. Aditi insists that she deserves answers, and when Arshi lies, claiming Aditi lived with them the whole time, Aditi presses further, questioning why Anjana would say otherwise. She mentions Jhanak’s claim that Nutan raised her, prompting Arshi to express disbelief at Jhanak’s audacity.

Meanwhile, Indumati asks Dadabhai why he is preoccupied with thoughts of Jhanak. Dadabhai explains that Jhanak has achieved good marks and deserves to attend a reputable college, noting that she accomplished this without any support. He reveals that he received a missed call from an unknown number, which he suspects might belong to their long-lost son. Indumati, filled with sorrow, questions why their son would reach out after abandoning them years ago. Dadabhai, however, clings to hope that their son might return, expressing his suspicion about Neelu and her husband’s relationship. Indumati urges him not to entertain negative thoughts.

Back in the confrontation, Aditi demands to know why her parents would send her away with Nutan. Aniruddh urges Aditi to trust them, but she turns to Bablu, pleading for the truth. Arshi, feeling defensive, questions why Aditi is asking Bablu instead of them. Aditi bluntly states that she believes her parents may be lying. Aniruddh tries to calm her down, but Aditi insists on knowing if they truly rejected her for five years.

In a moment of painful honesty, Bablu confirms Aditi’s fears, revealing that Nutan had claimed Aditi was stolen at birth. He explains that Aniruddh and Arshi did not believe Nutan’s story, which shocks Aditi. Bablu continues, explaining that Nutan was the one who rescued Aditi from a kidnapper and took her to Simulboni. Aditi is left reeling from this revelation, tears streaming down her face as she looks at Aniruddh, feeling betrayed and heartbroken.

The episode concludes with Aditi demanding to know how her parents could do this to her. Aniruddh pleads for her forgiveness, but Aditi, overwhelmed by the weight of the truth, refuses to forgive them, leaving the family dynamics hanging in a fragile balance. The emotional tension sets the stage for further exploration of family secrets and the quest for acceptance.
