The episode begins with Katha and Yuvi engaged in a tense conversation. Katha reminds Yuvi of a saying that suggests after marriage, both husband and wife should share the same room. Yuvi, feeling cornered, accuses Katha of using this as an excuse for her failure to defeat him in college. His words sting, and Katha feels hurt by his harshness. After a brief moment, Yuvi storms off, leaving Katha to contemplate their strained relationship.
After freshening up, Yuvi exits his room, only to be taken aback by the sight of Katha arranging the bed for him. She explains that once everyone returns to their rooms for the night, she plans to leave his space. However, Yuvi misinterprets her intentions, accusing her once again of trying to manipulate the situation. Frustrated, he chooses to sleep on the sofa instead. Katha, feeling dejected, gazes at her mother’s photo and reflects on her own fate, lamenting that it has become as troubled as her mother’s.
Determined to avoid conflict, Katha decides to leave the room, thinking the family members must already be asleep. She searches for a quiet place to rest but fails to find the stairs leading to the terrace. Ultimately, she opts to lie down on the kitchen floor, vowing to herself that she will never hurt Mohan and Vandana. She resolves to fulfill her duties as a daughter-in-law and wife, despite the emotional turmoil she faces.
As the clock strikes midnight, Yuvi wakes up and realizes Katha is missing from the room. His anger flares as he feels that Katha is making his life unbearable. He refers to her as a “dangerous virus” in his life and begins searching for her. Initially, he feels a sense of relief, thinking that Katha has left the house. However, he quickly dismisses this thought, reminding himself that he isn’t fortunate enough to enjoy such happiness.
His search leads him to the kitchen, where he finds Katha. Confronting her, he accuses her of trying to create unnecessary drama to turn the family against him. He demands that she return to their room. Katha, standing her ground, defends herself and refuses to comply, asserting that she has self-respect. In a moment of desperation, Yuvi silences her by covering her mouth with a cloth and forcibly drags her back to their room. Katha is taken aback by his actions.
Once inside the room, Katha insists that Yuvi let her leave or she will scream. Yuvi, pleading with her, asks her not to make a scene and to stay put. Katha remains resolute, leading Yuvi to frustration. In a moment of compromise, he tells Katha that he will do whatever she asks, but in return, he wants her to stay in the room. This unexpected offer brings a glimmer of happiness to Katha, and she seizes the opportunity to turn the situation to her advantage. She boldly demands that Yuvi participate in all the post-wedding rituals with her. Yuvi is momentarily speechless at her audacity but ultimately refuses to promise anything. Katha, sensing his hesitation, provokes him by questioning his bravery. Reluctantly, Yuvi agrees to fulfill her request and leaves the room.
After he departs, Katha feels a pang of guilt and apologizes to God for her manipulative actions. Moments later, Yuvi returns, telling her that he needs time to figure out how to rid himself of her presence in his life, a task he vows to accomplish at any cost. Katha’s heart sinks at his words, and she recalls her promise to Eshwar. She reassures herself that she has no interest in remaining in this relationship, yet she resolves to stay for the sake of Eshwar and Mohan.
The following morning, Katha wakes up with a renewed sense of purpose. She decides to freshen up and perform a puja as a way to connect with her new family. In the house temple, Chandrika questions Rukmini about the absence of the other ladies of the house who should be participating in the puja. Rukmini defends her daughter-in-laws, emphasizing their commitment to family. Katha arrives and seeks Chandrika’s permission to perform the puja, which is granted. Rukmini encourages Katha, who then proceeds with the rituals.
However, Yuvi’s cousins arrive and begin to criticize Katha, undermining her efforts. After completing the puja, Katha turns to Charu, seeking guidance on the responsibilities of a daughter-in-law. Chandrika overhears this and criticizes Katha’s family for not having taught her these important lessons. Determined to help, she decides to take Katha under her wing and teach her the ways of the household. Katha, eager to learn, pulls out a notebook to jot down everything, while the other family members exchange amused glances at her innocence.
