The episode begins with Prarthna confiding in Seema about her growing concerns regarding Sonalika. She informs Seema that Sonalika has maliciously damaged the swing, a beloved plaything for the children. Although Prarthna admits she hasn’t seen Sonalika in the act, she firmly believes that Sonalika is trying to turn Shivansh against her. Seema and Gayatri, overhearing this, nod in agreement, clearly sharing Prarthna’s sentiments.
As the conversation progresses, Seema’s fury escalates upon learning that Sonalika has spoiled the prasad by adding garlic, which is strictly forbidden in their rituals. Prarthna emphasizes that Sonalika’s actions were intentional, aimed at ruining the puja and provoking Shivansh’s anger. She reveals that she overheard Sonalika confessing her wrongdoing to Tanya, further solidifying her belief that Sonalika is plotting to have Shivansh oust her from the house. Seema, frustrated, questions why Prarthna didn’t confront Sonalika directly.
Prarthna explains that she wants to avoid spoiling the festive atmosphere with a confrontation. Despite her desire for peace, she cannot overlook Sonalika’s underhanded schemes against both Shivansh and their deity, Kanha ji. Her temper flares as she reflects on Sonalika’s misdeeds, and she vows not to let Shivansh be influenced negatively. Seema reassures her that Sonalika has no real intention of harming Shivansh since she wishes to marry him and live with him. However, Prarthna counters that Sonalika is indifferent to Shivansh’s feelings. Seema advises Prarthna to remain vigilant, to which Prarthna confidently asserts that Sonalika cannot harm her or drive Shivansh away. Seema and Gayatri rally around Prarthna, offering their support and encouragement.
In the next scene, Shivansh approaches Prarthna, expressing his reluctance to marry Sonalika. When Prarthna asks what he truly desires, he boldly confesses that he loves her. Sonalika, lurking nearby, watches their interaction with jealousy. As Shivansh and Prarthna share their feelings, they resolve their misunderstandings and embrace, promising to always be there for each other. However, Sonalika interrupts, demanding that Shivansh leave Prarthna and instructing Prarthna to go away.
Shivansh, standing firm, tells Sonalika to leave. He takes a strong stance, asserting that Prarthna is his partner and that no one has the right to separate them. He passionately declares his love for Prarthna, labeling Sonalika as an outsider and forcefully ejecting her from his room. The scene shifts dramatically as Sonalika wakes up, startled and shouting, realizing it was just a nightmare. Desperate to be with Shivansh, she takes a moment to calm herself, vowing to marry him and become his wife. She then calls her mother, asking her to come home.
The following day, Shivansh confronts Prarthna, questioning if she has come to discuss alimony. Prarthna admits that she has, but Shivansh senses something deeper, insisting that she must have ulterior motives. He urges her to be honest with him. Prarthna responds that he wouldn’t believe her because he hasn’t understood her perspective. He presses her to explain, recalling how she left the house and later returned seeking money. Prarthna challenges him to reflect on his own actions and recognize where he went wrong.
She accuses him of not trusting her, of rushing into a marriage with Sonalika instead of waiting for her. Shivansh argues that he often gets what he doesn’t want and insists that he never wanted to lose her. He expresses his frustration, feeling trapped in a situation he describes as a “huge mess.” He admits that he still wants Prarthna in his life, but he feels his love for her has faded, especially since he doesn’t recognize the person she has become. He claims to be content with marrying Sonalika, who he believes is genuine and straightforward. Prarthna’s jealousy flares as she pretends to support their union, declaring her happiness for Shivansh and Sonalika’s impending marriage. She resolutely states that she will not attend the wedding and walks away, leaving Shivansh feeling dejected.
After their heated exchange, Shivansh retreats to his room, where he encounters Sonalika. She casually informs him that she has entered his room without invitation, prompting him to remind her of the importance of boundaries. Sonalika, unbothered, selects a shirt for him, claiming she wants to do something special. Shivansh questions her motives, and Sonalika playfully taunts him about Prarthna, reminding him of their past friendship where she would choose shirts for him, which he considered lucky.
As they converse, Prarthna arrives at the door, witnessing the interaction. In an attempt to provoke jealousy, Shivansh praises Sonalika’s choices, which pleases her. However, when Prarthna critiques Sonalika’s selection, Shivansh defends Sonalika, insisting that Prarthna wouldn’t understand the importance of appearances. This exchange leads to tension between the three, with Prarthna feeling increasingly marginalized and upset.
