Vaiju explains that she woke up to find Rannvijay missing from bed and went looking for him. Jaya counters that Vaiju must think she called Rannvijay. The two argue, and soon after, Rannvijay and Vaiju join in the disagreement. Frustrated, Vaiju grabs her pillow and decides to sleep on the couch, while Rannvijay retreats to the bed without looking at her again.
The next morning, Jaya informs the receptionist that she’d like to settle her bill as she plans to leave. Rannvijay arrives and insists that both rooms be billed to him since Jaya has helped them so much. He approaches Vaiju and asks if she’s upset with him. Jaya questions the silence between them, prompting Vaiju to express her confusion over the events that transpired at Jhumri Patak, an incident she wasn’t part of. Jaya accuses Vaiju of feeling insecure, but Vaiju counters by asking Jaya about her feelings regarding Kunal.
Rannvijay then asks Jaya how she intends to return home, and she responds that nothing feels right before walking away. When Rannvijay asks Vaiju why Jaya left, she tells him to stay out of sisterly matters. He invites her to come with him, but she insists on maintaining her self-respect. Vaiju acknowledges that she understands what’s going on with her but suggests Rannvijay should also consider his own feelings. They share a warm hug, reconciling their differences.
Later, Vaiju brings food to Rannvijay, but he brushes her off, saying he’s busy preparing a presentation for a client. Undeterred, Vaiju sits beside him and starts feeding him. However, Jaya calls Rannvijay, urging him to meet her at home urgently. Vaiju feels a pang of jealousy, realizing that Jaya’s call has easily distracted Rannvijay from both his food and work.
When Rannvijay arrives at Jaya’s place, she drops the bombshell that she plans to marry Kunal. He asks if she’s merely informing him or extending an invitation to the wedding. Jaya responds that since Kunal is her sister’s husband, he will be invited out of respect. Rannvijay is left to contemplate why Jaya’s decision affects him so deeply. Meanwhile, Kunal is on his way home, brimming with surprises for Jaya. Upon arriving, he mistakenly interprets the sight of Jaya and Rannvijay together as something more. He immediately questions Jaya, asking if she has any doubts about the marriage. Jaya quickly clarifies that she called Rannvijay only to discuss the upcoming wedding. Rannvijay later informs Vaiju about Jaya’s engagement to Kunal.
