Memories of meeting Rannvijay at the temple after years and the sight of him with Jaya flood her mind, leading her to question why he returned and whether she would ever find happiness.
Meanwhile, Jaya confides in Rannvijay about their married life. He reassures her that she is his wife and Vayu’s mother—an irrefutable truth in his life. He mentions their plans to leave early the next morning and wishes Jaya a happy birthday, evoking a genuine smile from her. As Vaiju picks up a shard of the broken mirror, she winces in pain, questioning the depth of her hurt.
