The episode begins with Jaya chastising Vayu for being late for school. In his rush, Vayu asks Rannvijay for help with his shoelaces, but Jaya insists he should learn to do it himself. She continues to scold Rannvijay for not encouraging Vayu’s independence. Vayu curiously asks Jaya why she isn’t wearing slippers. Rannvijay explains that Jaya is forgoing them to focus on praying for his recovery. Meanwhile, Vasundhara encourages Rannvijay to accept Jaya as his wife, but he brushes off the idea, suggesting they have breakfast instead. Vani and Vaiju mention the water tank for the visharjan ceremony of Goddess Saraswati to prevent pollution.
Sunita commends Vaiju for raising Vani independently, riding a motorcycle, and empowering other women in the village. However, Niranjan arrives and starts berating Vaiju, accusing her of leading the women astray. He insults her knowledge and claims that Vani doesn’t even know her father’s name. In defense, Vani tells Niranjan not to emulate Vaiju’s example. Milind, wanting to intervene, is stopped by Vaiju. Niranjan continues to belittle Milind, calling him a jobless police officer and questioning why Milind hasn’t taken action against Vaiju.
Vaiju urges Sunita to take Vani away, but Niranjan halts them, demanding that Vani state her father’s name. He goes around asking the other children the same question. He then pulls out Vani’s birth certificate, claiming it proves he knows her father’s name. Vani argues that it doesn’t say anything meaningful. Vaiju asserts that both Vani’s parents are important to her.
Nagraj confronts Jaikant, asking about Chhavi’s whereabouts, to which Jaikant coolly replies that she’ll come when she chooses. Rannvijay advises Jaikant to communicate better with his wife, but Sulekha interjects, asking him to stay out of it.
Jaikant presents Rannvijay with tickets to Singapore, leaving Rannvijay perplexed about who they are for. Sulekha clarifies that they are for Jaya and Rannvijay. The family pushes them to take the trip, suggesting they need some time together since marrying. Vaiju confronts Niranjan, declaring she won’t tolerate him belittling women and asserts that his pride is weak, which has led him to mistreat Vani and intrude upon her home. She warns him not to even glance at Vani.
Rannvijay becomes furious and reprimands the family for planning the trip, particularly Jaya, for going along with it. Annoyed, he storms away from the table. Vani, feeling dejected, runs to a scarecrow while Vaiju reassures her that she will explain everything in due time. Upset by her feelings of not having a father, Vani walks away.
Rannvijay continues to scold Jaya for not refusing the Singapore trip, but she claims she was unaware of it. As Jaya weeps in Rannvijay’s arms, he remains emotionally distant and unresponsive. The episode concludes with Vaiju contemplating that Rannvijay no longer exists for her.
